A big reason why Cedi’s advanced stats are terrible is that he’s constantly guarding the best wing and is being asked to do too much on offense.

Anybody who watches sees that Cedi is a rotational player for a good team... he’s just never going to be able to defend the other team’s best scorer the entire game or lead an offense for small stretches.

Exactly, I remember he even sometimes guards the PG`s. Like Kyrie on Celtics match, Kemba on Hornets. He is opposing the best scorer players in the league, also he is most likely the player who has gotten the biggest number of playing minutes in the team. That also explains why he has the '' - '' stats.

By the way, as others mentioned. That's his rookie year. He has never played in a high frequency and dense matches in a row. In Europe, there are maximum 2 games in a week. He probably is still trying to adopt the match frequency.

Yet, He is getting better day by day and he is only 23. I believe in two years, he will be a solid starter in the league.

I agree. Plus he has a top notch work ethic and has already shown he is a quick study and can emulate and implement facets from other players' game.

I think its more than highly reasonable to expect Cedi to further develop as time goes on and Im very excited to watch as it happens.

Cedi vs Rockets

He had 27 minutes, 6/7 2p, 0/3 3p, 3/3 ft.

In total; 15 pts, 3 rbd, 1 ass, 1 steal, and 2 turnovers.

I had not watched Cedi highlights for some time since I watch the games. When you look at the highlights, it is clear that his drive to the hoop is lightyears ahead of what it was at the beginning of the season.

He is also more in shape, just getting to used to the number of games and minutes.

Cedi has flashes where he looks like the best player on the court. Like today's' first quarter, for example, they couldn't stop him.
I think he has shown more than enough flashes this season to be excited for him going forward. Great game from him tonight I think this was his sixth 20 + point game this season?

Get some spot up shooters to space the floor and get rid of Burks and Hood. Just let Cedi and Sexton figure out some chemistry and handle the ball more. Hopefully Koby will reshape the roster so the young guys can grow and play with Love.

Break out the champagne! Cedi leads the Cavs to victory with 20 points!

However, all credit goes to his parents, Donnie and Marie.

Turns out it was the hair!

The Cavs arrived in Los Angeles over the weekend as losers of 12 in a row, owners of the NBA’s worst record, and statistically, the worst defensive team in league history. And in the middle of the maelstrom was second-year man Cedi Osman, who is LeBron’s replacement in Cleveland’s lineup has the worst defensive rating of any NBA starter. He also had an unruly mop of hair.

So on Saturday, Osman, who became friends with LeBron last season, sought out Castemos for a wig busting. Also busted: the Cavs’ (and Osman’s) slump. With LeBron in street clothes for the 10th straight game following his groin injury from Christmas night, Cleveland stunned the Lakers at home, 101-95, for its first win since Dec. 18. Osman paced the Cavs with 20 points.

At least some of the credit goes to Castemos, who, if nothing else, made it so Osman wasn’t constantly pushing his bangs away from his eyes.

Sure, on the surface it seems as though the haircut is the source, but upon further inspection, I believe the lather from Cedi's exotic formula Head and Shoulders may be granting him temporary superpowers:

So...after last night's performance, he's clearly catapulted himself into the MVP discussion. Right?

As Sexton said, it’s been a “fun” season

LBJ still brings out a decent performance from Cedi. Too bad that'll only happen twice a year.

I have to say that Cedi seems to get up for big games. He played really well against GS and some other high profile matches. Young Bull has a little of that too.
