The only winnable game might be GB with Rodgers out.

That means they'll lose by 4 touch downs, and Hue Jackass will give us that constipated look on his stupid fat face.

I feel like we'll win like 2 games against opponents that are substantially better than us just because the Browns always do the opposite of what is expected of them.

What was going through your head when you thought they couldn't possibly go 0-7?

HOPE, you son of a bleep,... HOPE!

(tears cascading down my face)

Is that TOO much to ask for?

(In my Nancy Kerrigan voice) "Why me? Why?"

I hate the Browns.

They will win 0 of the next 6. This is the Cleveland Browns we are talking about.
6 down, 0 to go.

Well, I learned two things:

#1- the Browns are going to have a difficult time winning a game

#2- I suck at making polls

Don't be too hard on yourself, Mike. It's not that you suck; it's that the Browns suck. The fans truly do not deserve what they have had to endure from this organization since 1999. This isn't just me taking some sort of perverse pleasure in seeing the Browns fail, but I honestly see no light at the end of the tunnel. It's been almost 2 decades of utter futility, stupidity, incompetence, whatever you want to label it. I truly, truly wish the team would just go bankrupt and die so fans like you don't have to suffer anymore.

My insane take is that the Browns really ceased to exist as we know them around 1995, and the NFL as whole stopped "existing" in the same manner around the same time.

This is not just a Browns thing, but they're almost a symbol of the league selling out in favor of trying to reach some weird sunbelt/sec markets that generally are more loyal to their college programs. (Saints, and Panthers being the lone exceptions). Would anyone be..."sad" if the Jaguars moved at this point? Fuck no. Their fans would probably go put on Falcons (another "meh" franchise but with a bit more history), Dolphins, and Bucs (same as the Falcons) jerseys then it would be the end of it. But that's the sort of horseshit greed we're dealing with here.

Honestly I don't know what I want anymore. I do feel the same emotions but...as a football fan? The Browns are sadly my team over every other team you could throw at me. I know people love OSU, and that's cool. But my ties to them are limited. My diploma doesn't say "OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY" on it, so therefore I feel a bit "limited" in my connection to them. Hell, the only reason I even feel the least bit connected to Purdue is because of my family lineage there and almost attending it.

I view the Browns as an asset to this city's image. In theory..they're supposed to represent a blue collar city, an area with a great pro, college and high school history, and some sort of pride relating to those. In practice? Well, they make us all look like incompetent losers, and they bring down the confidence in this city immensely.

If I were Roger Goddell? I would be kinda saddened at how awful and backwards this franchise is for the league. You know why? Because this should be one of those "print money" franchises like the Packers, Steelers, Vikings, etc. Instead...they're a fucking punchline.

Ya, no. I'll take this over nothing. Cleveland deserves better than being lopped off for futile management.
