The Perv Pool

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm still just really confused about why she's so shocked about his "aggressive" behavior. If a girl comes to my apartment and gets naked I'm going to think she's dtf. Like, why else would she be naked? The "non-verbal cue" of putting a guy's dick down your throat is also a pretty good sign that you're dtf. This whole situation is stupid.

The problem with the whole #MeToo movement is the stigma that surrounds "making the first move." As men, we've always been told it us up to us to make the first move. It shows confidence, assertiveness, blah-blah - things girls apparently find attractive.

That's part of it though!

You're right, men ARE told to make the first move. We are taught to be aggressive, to chase after girls, to treat sex as conquest, etc. That's why the discussion is important. A lot of feminists/progressives are trying to change/remove these gender roles, because it reinforces so much bad behavior. What may seem confident and assertive in a man's mind can come off aggressive, weird, creepy, to another person.

I think there is a fairly clear distinction between what is rape and what is not rape. But there is a whole spectrum of sex when it comes to whether it's "good" or "bad" or "awkward" or any number of things. And the societal dynamics between different sexes is a large part of it. Many men don't want to feel vulnerable, so they don't communicate what they really want. And many women feel like they need to be accommodating, so they go along with shit they don't enjoy.

To clear up, I have been in this girls situation.

I've been agressed and didn't want to, even though I put myself in a bed next to someone. Sometimes I physically pushed them off, sometimes I didn't know how to say no because I was young and not ready to be comfortable saying no. I ended up doing it just because it was really uncomfortable.

I personally wouldn't feel any animus towards any of these people because they just didn't get it, they weren't assaultjng me. But these situations do happen.

I personally went through with it because I don't see sex as a huge, sacred deal but it sounds like she did and still went with it. So her relationship with sex isn't perfectly with her behavior and decisions.

Lets be clear here. Women are absolutely more attracted to the confident men who make moves than shy men.

Even if men weren't taught this, they'd see who goes home with who at a bar. Its not the shy gut sitting in a corner that has women flocking to him.

So then if women really want men to be less assertive then they had better find it in themselves to be the aggressor more regularly.

I'm ALL for women being the ones who make the first move. My male ego has no problem with it and I won't think you're a slut for it.

But in my experience I've had far better luck being the first to approach and initiate a convo and the first to make a move.

So if women want this dynamic to change, then its kinda on them, cause we all still wanna get laid, so we are gonna do what works.

EXACTLY! Female empowerment and diminishing the power of gender norms. I don't agree with the assessment that it's all on women to change, but I don't really want to dive into that.

Can't wait for sex dolls so we don't have to deal with this anymore.

And I'm kinda with you here, but I get a little pissed off reading all these women online talk about men being too forward and aggressive and how they prefer nice men....but you ain't going home with the nice guy who doesn't make a move.

So like if that's what you want, then start acting like it instead of just saying it.

Careful what you wish for...

Anyone following this Larry Nassar stuff? What a fucking scumbag. Preying on these young girls...I think as young as 6.

Telling them he needs to treat their back issues by using vaginal insertion of his fingers? What the fuck?

Michigan State evidently knew some level of this. This is on the same level or worse than the PSU stuff.

So apparently a dude from "glee" got caught with c.p...

Killed himself the other day.

What about with gays? Surely not all sexual come-ons are welcome in your world same as ours, right? I feel like I’ve only seen Spacey so far but maybe I’m forgetting some?

Is this a thing? Could there ever be a #metoo movement amongst men the size as what we’re seeing with women accusing men?

Are men as aggressive and inappropriate towards men as they are towards women?
More men are raped in prison than all women in the US every year.
