The Trump Administration (just Trump) Thread

I just had a conversation with my daughter's father about this. We talked about how Obama didn't know what he was talking about. We also don't think the President knows anything about anything he speaks about. We also stopped at Walmart and bought my daughter a couple of toys for being named student of the month for September...so we did our part lowering the national debt too.

Never was a fan of Obama. But, yeah, he slipped up there.

But no one in their right mind would ever advance the claim that Obama was a stupid man, or didn't know how the government worked. So, in context it doesn't mean shit.

However, contrast that with Trump, who continually exhibits no understanding of the job, or any real sapience when it comes to things that that don't effect this ego, and yes, there is every reason to believe Trump is a blithering narcissistic moron. He's been one his whole life.

Right I mean.. does anyone REALLY believe Obama thought there were 57 states?

No one believes that... but, it's highly probable that Trump really didn't know he is the President of the US Virgin Islands. He probably didn't know when he was talking to the governor of the Virgin Islands; and he probably didn't know when he called him the President of the Virgin Islands.

There's an obvious difference here.

Exactly.

He clearly meant to say 47 with one more to go. He looks dog fucking tired in that video.

Trump probably thought the Virgin Islands were where you go to score underage tang.

Obama, "The Constitutional Scholar", wrote the DACA EO after saying it was unconstitutional on numerous occasions. So either he didn't know how the government works... Or he didn't care.

Not sure which one is worse.

Everything Trump has done since taking office is worse. He is a larger threat to democracy and the economy than cyber terrorism, Iran, NK, or Russia.

It’s crazy to live in these times, and it will be crazy to look back on it. I think, like the opposite of Len Barker’s perfect game, there will be far less people who will admit to voting for Trump than who actually did.

It’s time to think about the 25th or straight impeachment. I don’t know if we can run out the clock until Mueller’s indictments come down next year.

As a moderate liberal I say PLEASE give us Kasich, give us Jeb, give us almost anyone else (no not you Pence or Cruz). The crazy part is that HRC would have been a great President. We are going bsckwards at an alarming pace.

This isn’t even sour grapes. Tillerson called him a moron. The Chief is Staff feels it is his life’s duty to protect the democracy from him, they have made contingency plans to TACKLE him if he goes for the nuclear football. He is trying to censor the media. He is supporting hate groups. He likely has dementia. He is the largest threat to your father and grandfathers United States. There is no more defending Donald Trump and being a patriot and a rational sane human.

He has to go. Go vote in 2018 for the all the establishment R’s in the primary and all the Democrats in the general. It’s basically our civic duty at this point.

Typical, head in the sand, Trumpster response. Ignoring all the warning signs in order to get a perceived "win" against make believe enemies.

Ignore reports from the White House staff. Ignore the actions of his Chief of Staff. Ignore senior members of Congress. Ignore former WH aides. Ignore actual news stories. Just believe that "liberals" are the enemy.

I suppose your response proves the old adage that you can't rationalize with irrational people. We will just have to run out the clock and hope that the damage isn't irreversible.

Step away from the ledge, it's going to be ok.
