I was thinking the thumping sound after that scene with Negan when the overhead view was shown was his head getting bashed, but who knows.

That's what I thought at first lol. But I don't think so.

Back on the train again...

Pretty good episode besides those weird flash forward scenes. Maggie is hiding her baby bump pretty well.

I was all on board the "this is the most stupid attack in the works" critique, but it actually made sense when their entire plan was put into action. Even shooting at the windows made a kind of sense - they wanted to keep them hunkered down for a bit so that the second phase wouldn't face prepared opposition.

Only thing is that is looks like they just left after the zombie attack - would have been smart to keep someone back there observing. Now that the Saviors are bottled up, you can keep eyes on them and know when they make a move.

I love Gregory - the weasel factor is off the charts.

People shot people.

I don’t understand where they are attacking if it isn’t the saviors’ main compound.

Some dude is taking Rick hostage? He has called the saviors!

Jesus now has 15 hostages he wants to feed and save.

My thoughts exactly. It appears they're going for the Impressionistic approach -- just shooting a bunch of guns in poorly-described circumstances and expecting us to just "get it". But it's quite terrible. I actually put on closed-captioning because I couldn't understand what Rick was asking some dude during a fight. As it turns out, he was asking "Where are the M2's", which is a reference to extremely effective Browning M2 .50 cal. heavy machine guns. But that's a reference that would fly right over the head of 95% of the audience, especially given how it was mumbled by Rick.

I have no idea if they're really winning, what the overall situation is, etc.. No mention at all of the Garbage Pail kids still out there with dozens of guns, which you would think would be a primary concern of Rick's. Negan could show up next week with hundreds of guys and a platoon of vehicle mounted HMG's, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

The sad thing is that I think they really thought these first two episodes were great because of all the action. They suck, and last night's in particular may be the worst episode I've seen in years.

So who is Morales? Which part of the past storylines is he from?

Are the Rev and Negan supposed to be pooping their pants all this time still?

I thought Morgan going beast mode was kinda cool. A little video-gamish there, but cool nonetheless. I just wish he'd have come out and murked that one dude who we all want to see die, and then said that the rest could come with. Extra dope if he said "come with."

I thought girl should have shot that dude when he was trying to take Jesus hostage. I feel like it's an odd thing to expect her to drop her weapon or take orders from her. That would be totally illogical, right? Like you are aiming at me, and I have a hostage who I am aiming at, and I expect you to then disarm yourself?!? Did that really happen or was it another confusing thing? Then when he crushed those pills that Maggie could have used, I really just wish she'd have blasted him. Oh well, now he's hog tied and will get saved and armed by the Saviors once they arrive. Sweet.

I thought the Savior woman at the beginning (who radioed in for them to lock the floors of the compound) died by zombie, then like 10 minutes later they showed her still alive and shooting someone.

I think King Ezekiel is absurd and over-the-top corny. I am unsure about this unwavering, blind faith message that he's telling Carol, and how that's supposed to be helpful/impactful. Obviously once the tiger came in and devoured home boy, all was forgiven, but then they decided to forge onward toward who exactly? Like the Saviors last I know have already been pent up by a thousand zombies and aren't exactly going to be surprised anymore. So who was getting ambushed and now that they are aware of that gang of rogues, what's going to happen? Can a tiger bite through a garbage person's bumper-armor? STAY TUNED.

My buddy who is huge a huge TWD fan (like watched every episode, read every comic huge) said Morales is from season 1, and was originally in the group with Glenn but left the group.

The savior's main compound is overrun with zombies, or at least I assume it still is surrounded by them. It seems like the plan was to surround the main compound and take out the satellite compounds while the main compound was preoccupied.

I do think it's pretty ridiculous that the group of people with reflex sights/acog's or whatever can't seem to hit a fucking person, and the group with silenced pistols just points and shoots and miss no one.

Ever since the A-Team shot so many machine guns and never hit a person (don't get me started on the GI Joe cartoon either), I've come to accept that there aren't many realistic gun battles on tv.

Seemed like 1 person got shot for every 1000 bullets.
No idea who was winning any battle.
Ezekial belongs on ZNation, not TWD.
When Morgan was laying next to all those dead guys why didn't any of them turn?
They should probably wrap up this series.

I kept telling my wife that the guy laying next to Morgan was a terrible actor because he kept breathing and moving his head when they were pulling away from him and it was very noticeable.

Then as they got closer to him it became pretty clear that they were making a point that he was turning.

They should probably wrap up this series.

Continuing to watch this series with my wife is the obligation blowjob that she gives to me when my birthday syncs up with her period.

The thing that always gets me is the lack of concern about ammo. Trained troops don't blast away at each other on full auto because they know it wastes ammo. So here, in an apocalypse where they have no access to new ammo, these supposedly very experienced fighters are blasting away like civilians who have no concept of ammo.

Plus, you never see ammo resupplies, or even any addressing of ammo issues in the short term. Everyone just seems to have bottomless magazines....

I thought this last season of Fear TWD was just full of plot holes and unrealistic/unbelievable scenes that would never occur, period. So far this season on TWD I'm seeing the same things. It's very frustrating to watch these people who have been through this for what seems like years now, still not understand the basics of how to survive... and it seems like their survival is a fluke.

Watching that gunfight was pathetic. First they start out by wasting 1000+ bullets that clearly are hard to come by, on shooting windows, when they could just shoot Negan immediately and be done with the whole thing. But no.

Then that badass chick on Negan's team who was hiding behind the car just lets a walker stroll up and bite her neck? Cmon.

Then Rick fires 1000 bullets from his UMP right at Negan who is hiding behind some debris and he can't even hit him.

Then Tara and Jesus have one of the most unrealistic scenes in the history of the show, letting some nobody in a closet fool them both while they stand there unable to shoot him "because he has his hands up". Give me a break. Then they catch a break and take him down, but still refuse to shoot him. LOL.

Then they take all those people hostage. For what? They know what it's like to be taken hostage, all they want to do is escape and kill their captors. What would make this group any different? C'mon.

This show is killing me.
