The Walking Dead

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Still havent watched. Probably just read a recap.

Really wish he wasnt dying but just leaving. I thought last season ended the story well. Shouldve just ended there.

Very good episode:

Rick
thought it was done really well, and I actually like that he didn't die. They did a damn good job keeping that quiet, and I liked that Jadis did that turn at the end to save him. Interesting that neither Glen nor Lori appeared in the dream sequences, though.

And seeing Herschell again in the afterlife...damn.

Other stuff:
still sucks that Maggie didn't kill Negan.

You should watch this last week at least.

I haven't watched any yet. Should I just watch this week? Worth watching the whole half season? Don't really wanna. But fuck I love Rick. Hope he didn't really die.

Really, you could actually get away just with watching this last episode. You'll be glad you did.

Actually feel better about the show moving forward that at any other point since the Negan cliffhanger.

Yup, they said on Talking Dead that Rick's story isn't done, but the dude was just burned out and wanted to be back in the UK with his family for a while. There's going to be some AMC feature films with Rick in them, that they'll presumably film across the pond so he can be around his family and the door is still wide open for a return if he wants it.

Here's a good link to a story:

Great to hear.

Will watch. Not good with goodbyes tho

this season has a new showrunner. the show itself has really taken on a new life.

now they are fast forwarding years post ricks departure and really giving the show a revamp.

it looks to me that someone has been experimenting on the zombie and next season zombies will be more of a challenge.

Walking dead as a franchise is smart to expand on that universe now before the series viewership completely falls off the map.

I am interested in these walking dead movies AMC will be producing.

when this show came out . I didn't think it would last more than 2 or 3 seasons.

as far as the comic series goes. the show needs to keep a balcne of what it keeps and what it changes it up otherwise it is predicatble and boring as people could always refer to the comics for spoilers

Hmm, sounds very interesting. AMC totally sold "Rick's last episodes" to viewership knowing they are scamming the people. Maybe I'll pick up where I left off and watch it -- only because I'm curious where they go with 10 year old Judith rocking around Carl's hat and a gun. With anything in life, revamp is always interesting. (If you know who Clementine is, I've read they could head in that direction)

It was never smart to kill off Rick in the first place. He's just a great character played by a wonderful actor that's been absolutely perfect in his role. Glad they went the open-end route.

But yeah, I read Glen wanted no part of TWD and he's moved on. Guess he's sour grapes.

That interview on Talking Dead with Andrew Lincoln was so damn annoying.

That lady doing it just constantly saying, "Yeah," "Uh huh," and whatever else just drove me nuts. Just let the man speak.

In case anybody isn't up with the show in recent seasons, this scene is still a must watch.

Good scene. I consider myself caught up now.

Did you watch the whole last episode?

No. Forgot to record it. Maybe I'll download it or something.

Just not sure I want to invest in this show anymore. With Rick gone it's just shot my interest level. Or maybe the new direction will be what it needs. I'll wait for the buzz.
