Do Not Sell My Personal Information

By the way, Lawbreakers looks sick as fuck.

PS4 and PC exclusive.

I can deal with missing out on Quake Champions thanks to this.
I heard good things about it during the recent beta. The concern is that they're charging for this game while quake champions is free. People are wondering if it will have a large enough audience with how ridiculously popular overwatch is and then you have a free great game with history behind it in quake champions.

I'd love to play Champions, I'm not a PC owner though so it's just not an option for me until (if) it gets ported over to consoles.

So for now Lawbreakers will have to do. It looks like a solid game to pick up and a play just a couple matches of when I get home.

It sucks if there is a good game that cant catch on because of timing of the release. Typically cream does rise to the top. I nthe pc world cs go and overwatch have the comp scene on lock. So you can expect to play those games for years without a population drop. Tf2 is in it's own special category. They've tried to put competitive in it, but it wasn't built from the ground up for it. Because it's free now too and it had a large following in the past it will remain well played for awhile. Battlefield games older than 4, older call of duties, battleborne, just a few games off the top of my head that are extremely hard to find good matches. Battleborne was said on arrival.

This game could have good footing on ps4 because it doesn't have as much competition. You pretty much have overwatch and that's it.

It's a damn good game. I definitely have critiques that will hopefully be improved in the future games, but it is just such an enjoyable experience.
Just finished. Curious what your critiques were?

my biggest one was the hyrule castle took like 10 minutes to get through. Didn't even have to use any of my ancient arrows. Way too easy. I bought 20 ancient arrows and made a shit ton of meals and hardly needed anything. Was preparing for an epic battle just to get to Gannon, didn't happen :(

Those that know how to play, probably.

You're definitely at a disadvantage with a controller... But most people aren't very good either way. FWIW, I played Halo 2 at a very high level.
How high of a level? Highest rank I got was 38 which was damn near impossible with all of the hacking and standbying going on.

I agree on the castle being a bit anticlimactic on your first go, but I've enjoyed going back and exploring to find its secrets on subsequent runs. The first part of the Gannon fight was epic as fuck with the way they set the scene and just his design in general. Again though, he's stupidly easy if you've beaten all the divine beasts. I appreciate the idea behind the second part of the battle, but the execution wasn't great.

In general, I wish the game had a better story as this one just felt too by the books as far as the series goes. The beauty of the game is how fun it is to just wander around, but I wish that the mainline story was better fleshed out and wasn't just told through flashbacks.

Also, while I liked the Divine Beasts, I wouldn't mind seeing them return to the more sprawling dungeons of old so that beating them felt a little more epic or like a real accomplishment has been achieved.

In the end, though, I'm just so excited to see where they go from here since they have found a new way forward for the franchise. Now that they've built this great engine, which I think took a large amount of the dev time, and found an artstyle that hides the graphically limitations of the hardware, hopefully they can just focus on making tweaks to an already great core.

Bought Ori last night.

The first 10 minutes of that game is incredible.

So I played some gears online. In open spaces I am dominant, but there is tons of cover in this game and the best weapon is the shotgun which requires essentially no aiming up close. If you can flank behind someone with it they're toast. No Mouse aim required. Get me out in the open at mid range with that assault rifle and I just tear people up though. You absolutely cannot win an aim dual with a gamepad against someone with a mouse. Also the sniper rifle has an ultra low rate of fire and requires a headshot to kill. I haven't used it pvp because I haven't messed with the loadout. I will give it a shot. It's incredibly dominant in horde mode though where a mouse player can carry a team there.

In pvp I imagine that people just dive all over the place if they know you have one. So overall because there is so much covering space to take, and how powerful melee range is, you can neutralize the mouse advantage by sniper rifles super slow rate of fire, and just not getting in open mid range space.

The assault rifle is useless over long distance, so it really shines in mid range where it's out of the shotgun potency range. Up close the shotgun just destroys the assault rifle. It's a one shot kill, two max with no aim and the rate of fire for a shotgun is decent.

If you're good with it, you can time the roll easily to land head shots.
