The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Anyone looking for a break from the loot crate insanity currently plaguing the games industry should go buy a Switch and play Mario Odyssey.

That game is pure magic and the post credits end game stuff is damn cool.

Mario Odyssey is like music to my senses. It visuals to my ears and mind. It hits you so hard with memories while being a fantastic game. This and Persona 5 are my top two games of the year.

I got my brother the Mario odyssey switch for x mas. I'll definitely pick it up eventually.

Just FYI:

I am playing now with early access, and I have half of the heroes unlocked already and 2,900 tokens after just 2 matches.

The only heroes that come locked and are to be earned are: Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Iden Versio, Chewbacca, Leia, and Palpatine.

So I personally do not see how hard it will be to get these unlocks.

Already unlocked are: Boba Fett, Han Solo, Kylie Ren, Rey, Lando, Maul, and Yoda.

EDIT: I just actually claimed some milestone awards as well, and now have 4,715 credits after 2 games. This is easy.

You also get a free crate every day. Seriously TyGuy, we were mislead.

So you get one free crate a day. That's good. How long does it take to earn a crate otherwise? Is the 18 matches accurate? I'm still nit pleased with how powerful some of these cards are. There is a 35% improvement in damage for the star fighter mode.

No. It is not 18 matches.

Like I said I had 4700 after 2 matches. Crates cost roughly 2000 each.

That is much different than what anybody else has been reporting.

UPDATE: I've played 6 games and have 9400. Almost have Vader unlocked.

It says I'm earning between 240-350 a game, but this is certainly not the case.

I bought Battlefront last year and season pass full price. It was enjoyable for awhile, but a massive disappointment. Mostly because the season pass was worthless because nobody else played it until it was made free, which by that time nobody plays it.

I didn't play the BFII beta, but the gameplay looks fine. However, screw EA, and I'm joining everyone who is boycotting the game. I was going to anyway though because last year was half a game. I'll pick it up when the price goes down.

I just popped in The Witcher 3 for the first time in a year to start the DLC/Expansions.

Fuck is this game still amazing. I went to the manor to start Hearts of Stone and when I left it to go to the sewer, it was storming. It's getting late so I was gonna log off, I literally fucking walked Geralt back into the manor so he wasn't out in the storm before I saved and logged off. Goddam I'm a nerd but that's what this game does to me.

The questine in heart of stone is the single greatest storyline quest of the Witcher 3 for me. Just absolutely masterful writing with beautiful characterization.

It was great. I think I might give the best storyline nod to the Bloody Baron quest, though.

That would be my #2. I just thought the quest in the mansion (avoiding spoilers) was above and beyond even the witcher's incredibly high standards.

Noice. Looking forward to it. Is Blood and Wine any good?
