Picked up God of War yesterday. One of those rare games that’s more than just a game - it’s an experience, a work of art.

I’m so excited.

How they managed to keep that certain in-game twist under wraps throughout development and launch is just beyond me. What a marvel of a game. Nearing the end, or at least I think I am. I really don't want it to be over.

Just beat God of War. Woah, a lot to take in. Fantastic game, seriously, I don't see anything other than RDR2 standing in its way for GOTY.

The next game is going to be killer. What an incredible set up at the end:

Finished God of War’s main campaign today. Runaway favorite for GOTY, as it stands right now. I’m sad because it’ll probably be a few years before we get the sequel.

Right now I’m playing the endgame content. I’ve freed seven of the nine Valkyries so far. Currently I am working on the Impossible Trials in Muspelheim... holy shit, this is hard

Yeah, I passed on all that shit...I have Dark Souls and Bloodborne to beat if I really want ridiculously hard medieval style combat shit to grind out.

Game was phenomenal though.

I’m actually having a lot of fun with it, even though it’s basically just to finish achievements at this point.

I really wish this game had the replayability of the other two games you mentioned, though. There’s not even so much as a New Game+, so once I’m done with it I probably won’t pick it up again for awhile.

Never played the first 3, but really enjoying this one. How much longer do I have in the main campaign arc? I just don’t want it to end yet. I feel I’m maybe about halfway.

It’s times like these where I wish I had a PS4 instead of PC.

I own a ps4 just because it has a lot of exclusives. One thing that bothers me about the console though is they refuse to use the gyro. Nintendo has been making full use of it's gyro in shooting games such as splatoon and its port of doom.

Meanwhile sony has had a gyro in it's controls since the ps3 and no shooting game use gyro assisted aim... It's incredibly stupid. I had to fight the controls on uncharted 4 trying to aim with no aim assists and just my thumb.

I actually got a steam controller so I could play some shooting games when I stream to my living room and fired up tomb raider.. Yeah, gyro assisted aiming blows away right stick aiming. It's not quite as good as a mouse, but it's damn good.

You can't say its a missed opportunity because it isn't hurting Sony financially, but... Would it really hurt them for gyro aiming to be optional? It is for Nintendo games.

Upon further reflection... yeah. Incredible ending. And you know it stands a solid chance of playing out that way because Atreus/Loki is part Giant, meaning he has the power of clairvoyance from his mother.

Thankfully we likely won’t have to wait 5 years for a sequel.

It looks like H1Z1 has hit the PS4. I remember people talking about it a while back. Is this a game that gets me closer to PUBG realism and avoids the stupid building mechanics of Fortnite?
