The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm on mission 15. Which is basically the same as the last 14. I get it, mountains etc and a shit ton of troops.

There is practically no story and nothing keeping me in here. The environments are all the same, the missions and their objectives are almost all the same.
Sounds like you are about to finish MGSV.

After that, I'd recommend Yakuza 0, Kawami, and Kawami 2 IF you liked Shenmue. If you did, you will love these 3 games in that order.

I wonder if this is exclusive to Microsoft since they just bought them, or if this game will be left out because they were in production before the deal?

It's being published by Private Division, which is a part of Take-Two.

Fairly certain, though, that Obsidian, and thus Microsoft, owns the IP, so Microsoft would likely publish any potential sequels. Take-Two will get a cut of the original, though.

I know I'm late on this but those of you that have played the Witcher, have you read any of the books? With the show coming out next year, I wasn't sure if the books were worth picking up.

Hear they are good but haven't gotten around to them.

Got the original red dead. Idk if I'm gonna get into this. I'm just gonna compare everything to the metal gears that we actually good.

Man, 2019 already looking stacked.

I played super smash for 5-6 hours before I realized there was a story mode.

Subnautica is free on the Epic Games store right now.

To be honest, I find it very concerning to buy games on non-Steam platforms simply because I already have like 500+ games in my Steam library and thus I am committed to the platform. I also have concerns that all these clients are unsustainable, meaning at least a couple of them probably won't be around long-term. I don't have that fear of Steam, simply because they have such a market monopoly at this point and an absurd user base. It's hard to see them going under now, as Steam is essentially just a money-delivery platform for Valve.

If I want to play Gears 4, I'll probably just pirate it, as I couldn't give less of a fuck about the multiplayer. Considering I haven't played it by now, it obviously wasn't high on my list to begin with.

I remember the subnautica devs caved to those nutbags over at reeesetera and fired their sound design guy.

So sad to see someone who posted a bunch of racist and sexist tweets be fired for it.
More like he was fired for wrong think. They can do what they want, but they did it after the lunatics at reeera made it priority number 1 in their life.
