The "Who should I start?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Also a tip if anyone is scrapping for a RB today, Quintin Gaither is getting the start for the Redskins and is available it like 80% of leagues.

Chris Jennings at the flex vs KC

Yay or Nay

Depends on who else you have I guess.

More tough decisions for me....

I need to fill one RB spot and then the flex spot. Here is the list, pick 2...

Ganther vs Giants
Moats vs Rams
Arian Foster vs Rams
Antonio Bryant vs Seahawks
Maurice Morris vs Arizona

I am leaning towards Ganther and either Foster or Moats.

The problem is the Texans never give a clear answer on what they are going to do with their RB situation (I had Slaton, so I have dealt with it all season). It is the Rams, who they should kill and run the ball on a lot, but who knows who is going to get the carries. I have read that Foster may be more involved in the offense, but they are still going to split carries 3 ways.

Then there is Antonio Bryant vs Seattle. He had 2 good games in a row and then did nothing this week. I think I am being pushed in this direction just because of how bad the Seattle pass D was against Houston.

I feel like I have to start Ganther, but the Giants defense worries me. So is it Bryant and hope he puts up a good game vs a terrible pass defense or go with one of the Texans RB's and hope that he gets the majority of touches against the Rams D?

Yah I picked up Ganther too and am starting him. I had Maroney starting at the flex but decided to pick him up since he will be the starer this week.

I need some help this week here is what I got:

1) Brady @ Buf or Favre @ Car

2) Jacobs @ Was, DeAngelo Williams vs Minn, Beanie Wells @ Det, Ganther vs Giants, Maroney @ Buf ---- I need to choose 3, 1 will be for flex

3) Greg Jennings @ Pitt, Mason vs Chi, Hakeem Nicks @ Was ----- I need 2 choose 1

Thanks, I need all the help I can get.

You really have to ask that? How'd you get this far? ;)

Boy am I glad I decided to start Sims-Walker tonight!

I think watching the Browns D against the Steelers made me over think this. Gotta go with almost any defense that is playing the Rams.

And to actually answer your question, Drew Brees and Dallas Clark. :chuckles:

Ok semifinals this week for the league im in. For my last receiver should i start:

Robert Meachem vs Cowboys
Christ Chambers vs Cleveland
Dwayne Bowe(First game back) vs Cleveland

i have no idea. thanks.

I'd probably go Meachem. He's finally building a rapport with Brees, and IMO, he may end up as a top 15 receiver next year.

Christ "Allmighty" Chambers......I'm not too sure what to think of him.....KC is going to go to J Charles a lot, and the Browns DEF has been fairly studly against WRs in the 2nd half of the season.

As for Bowe, I have him on my roster, but I wouldn't start him. Too risky at this point. Possibly in week 16, depending on what he does in week 15.

Thanks BigMar i went with Meachem and he got me 10 points in the league im in. Scoring is different. I have a feeling ill regret it tomorrow but i hope the Browns prove me wrong lol.

Well, barring a miraculous comeback from Minnesota's DEF (I'm up by 24.57 with Longwell (K) left) I will have won my fantasy league for the 2nd year in a row. $325 payout......booya!

I can't believe Carson Palmer put on garbage performance vs. the Chiefs.

Won my league championship in a blowout. Jerome Harrison proved worthy thankfully. I was forced to start him because I lost both Kevin Smith and Ronnie Brown for the season and still won the league. Thank god for my sick receiving core as well.

I started Harrison over Charles last minute....got me another 7 or 8 pts. Had Kevin Smith as well. Feels good to win!

Do I start Marques Colston who is probable for tonights game with a kidney problem or do I start Robert Meachem? Any input here quickly would be appreciated. I have to have the line ups in before the game tonight.
