The writing was always on the wall for these two. It's either them or D12 who is going to leave. They missed a great opportunity of netting nice pieces for Howard during the trade deadline.

A superstar player is more valuable than a coach, and considering the moves Otis Smith has made, Dwight Howard is shit ton more valuable than him. This is a no brainer if their goal is to keep Dwight.

Otis Smith has absolutely made some stupid moves, that's not even debatable and he probably deserved being let go of. His dumbest move was probably not trading Dwight at the deadline last season though.

i would do that in a heartbeat, as the cavs should as well. problem is he'll have offers to coach better teams in better cities so there's likely no shot he accepts.

maybe if the cavs get anthony davis tho:cool:
