Tony Stewart runs over and kills other driver who was trying to confront him

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
To be fair, dark jokes usually go over better when they are funny and not cookie cutter BS that any twitter troll. I deal with dudes off stage every night saying "this crowd is too uptight, that's why they didn't like my stuff"....and then a good comic comes on and has the whole room losing it over a joke about dead babies.

Sorry, random pet peeve of mine. Comics are like "Why does no one laugh at my Ultimate Warrior being dead" joke? Welp, maybe it's because your timing, delivery, and execution suck....and you're not saying anything that a snarky child couldn't say.

Anyways....back to lurking.

Well give us the fucking Ultimate Warrior joke.

Just another reason why I can't get into Nascar...fake tough guys with beer guts.

Chill. It's a comment online. We didn't even know this dude, who cares. For some reason you're channeling this into something that happened in your own personal life, which was unfortunate, but also not fair to bring into the discussion. Can't please everyone with lighthearted humor. How do any of us say anything in life if anything we say can be taken as offensive nowadays? Who know what people are going through.

I used my personal life to illustrate a point...those people could be 100% healthy and your comment still would have bothered me.

But the bolded shows how ignorant you are and obviously my entire argument is beyond your ability comprehend.

"Kids dying in Pakistan? Fuck 'em, I don't know them! Who cares!" :chuckles:

Not what I'm saying. I care, people care. I'm saying I'm just not going to get worked up, like you are, about something/someone who doesn't affect me.

I'm sorry but Tony Stewart killed this kid. There's honestly no doubt in my mind he did it on purpose. Whether it backfired, or went farther than he intended I believe he could have avoided him, you know like all the other drives did despite the "dimly lit" turn. You don't hear any of the cars, or know they're coming until it's in the frame. Until coincidentally Tony Stewart, and you hear his engine gear up as if he punched the gas and kicked the car sideways. Tony Stewart has driven these cars for years, he knows they fishtail if you punch the gas. I think he meant to fishtail the car and either scare/clip him. Unfortunately he was sucked under the wheel and killed immediately.

Tony Stewart is a fuckhead. He's gotten out of his car and thrown helmets at drivers, he's wrecked drivers, went after drivers. He bumped this kid, and saw the kid trying to show him up and thought. "Ok you little punk, I'm Tony fucking Stewart take this..." and the most telling thing is that he hit him and didn't stop until getting halfway around the track! The kid was clearly in the wrong for getting out. Would've been much smarter/safer to confront Stewart in the pits. However, as mentioned the kid was 20 years old. Testosterone is high, and who knows if there was any lead up to this on track incident. I just think given Stewart's history of being an asshole that this is right in his wheelhouse of capability. I also want to see the 2nd video that the police supposedly have of a different angle. I think that could be a much more telling indication.

Eh, everything I've read points to the fact that these cars are not set up to turn on a dime and in order to really get the car to turn you have to punch the throttle. Just turning the wheel would cause it to spin out. If Tony wasn't expecting a person to be standing on the track, was in the middle of checking his gear and looked up only to see a guy right in front of him, he could have had a moment of panic. Certainly not unreasonable at all. The fact that a driver in front of him missed the kid doesn't tell us a lot. Maybe his spotter was paying more attention, maybe he wasn't in the middle of adjusting his gear and checking his equipment. Unless they have something else, I don't see a lot of use charging Stewart with anything.

There was some lead-up to this incident. Last year that huge accident Tony caused at that same track (if i'm not mistaken) left some chick with a broken back. Apparently that chick and Kevin Ward Jr. were good friends. So when he got wrecked by Tony he had extra reason to be pissed off. Too much reason, sadly.

I don't think comparing the other drivers missing him to Tony hitting him is really fair.

The kid was searching out Tony's car to confront him. He was purposefully getting out of the way of the other cars so when Tony came around he could make his point - be it yelling or pointing or whatever. So yeah the other drivers missed him - because he wasn't approaching their vehicles.

Imagine coming out of a turn and someone is walking towards your car. You have no idea which way to turn because the person can move much faster than you and it's impossible to anticipate which way they'll move. So he's coming out of a turn with a kid coming at his car and in a vehicle that doesn't have great handle. It's not hard to see why he wasn't able to miss the kid when everyone else did.

Also - the driver right behind Tony specifically said he didn't think Tony did it on purpose and that it was hard to see. I'd say he has a better perspective than any of us.

Clearly the only solution is to run Tony Stewart over with an identical car. If he survives, he's innocent. If not, no big loss.

They should allow fighting in Nascar. Would be the funniest shit ever. Zo vs.LJ levels of funny.
