I'm going to give some love to lesser-known players that I liked:

- Lenny Wilkins (obviously well-known, not as obvious he was a Cavalier player and very classy as always, even though he knew ten times as much about BB as Bill Fitch).
- Luke Witte
- Bill Willoughby -- one of the few to go to the NBA right out of high school before KG -- he BLOCKED Kareem at the Coliseum, referees called GOALTENDING, replays showed it was clearly a block, that might have been the loudest BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I ever heard on a radio.
- Phil Hubbard (local kid, awful injury while in college, gave Cavs all he had)
- Roy Hinson
- Lonnie Shelton (I wish we had him against GSW -- old school enforcer)
- Hot Rod (RIP) -- overcame a LOT, much respect for this man
- Bobby Phills (tragedy; stayed at the Hampton Inn in the road where he died that very day)
- Earl Boykins
- Eric Snow

Special mention for Joe Tait. When the Cavaliers got BIG in 1975-76 they weren't on TV as much so the radio was how we all got connected. He was a BIG part of the team for many decades. Fortunately he has a worthy successor IMHO -- but Joe will always be special for us older fans.

Final mention to Delly. Game 3 2015 -- played himself into the hospital, nobody who played for our team ever had more heart and guts than that man.
