Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Fuck Favors, give me Lopez. I don't want a "decent rim protector", I finally want a guy who will establish a tone in the middle and lay some wood. We can probably also steal Lopez from the Bulls in exchange for Shump + a sweetner.

Try to pawn JR, TT and our 1st on a team for an SG (Dallas w/Wes Matthews makes the most sense) and let's fuckin' ride.

Change in Defended FG percentage within 6 Feet:

2017/2018:

Favors -9.8% (4th in the league after Porzingis, Embiid and Whiteside)
Lopez -6.1% (12th in the league)

2016/17 (Favors was injured most of the season):
Favors -3.9%
Lopez -8.7%

2015/16:
Favors -9.7% (7th in the league)
Lopez -11.0% (3rd in the league)

2014/15:
Favors -13.5% (t-2nd in the league)
Lopez -5.7%

2014/15:
Favors -5.9%
Lopez -12.7% (3rd in the league)

They go back and forth - but Favors isn't that much poorer as a rim-protector than Lopez. He's also a much more potent offensive player.

Injury concerns are real, but if we can get Favors for cheap it's not a bad move.

I like it, although we would probably have to include Cedi or Zizic + our 1st in any deal to Dallas if we're going to off load both those guys. In that scenario Dallas could always throw in Noel or Barea as a sweetener.

Also, should add the stats guarding the Roll-Man on the Pick and Roll, since that is particularly important against GSW.

Score Frequency:

2017/2018:
Favors 27.7% (5th in the league)
Lopez 42.3%

2016/2017: (Favors injured)
Favors 47.6%
Lopez 39.8%

2015/2016:
Favors 34.1% (10th in league)
Lopez 49.0%

This is something Favors really excels at. He might have a much better chance guarding Daymond than Lopez.

I would absolutely love RoLo here. The guy added a jumper as well and is now considered a vet so he'd probably crack the rotation on this team. Bulls are 6 games out of the 8th spot and it all depends on where they are by the deadline. I'd be happy to give them Zizic or our first but if we give up both I doubt we can get an SG we need. We'd have to trade Tristan at that point though.

I totally agree on Lopez. He is more physical and that is what we want.

Favors has not looked great to me last few times i have seen him.

I wonder if jazz want to pay hood?

Id dangle our fist, cedi and tt for both

Bleacher Report Posted This Trade:

Charlotte Hornets Receive:
C Channing Frye, SF/PF Cedi Osman, SG/SF Iman Shumpert, SG JR Smith, 2018 first-round pick (via Brooklyn Nets), 2020 second-round pick (via Miami Heat)

Cleveland Cavaliers Receive:
SG/SF Nicolas Batum, PG/SG Michael Carter-Williams, PG Kemba Walker

Lineup Would Be

Isaiah Thomas / Michael Carter-Williams / Derrick Rose
Kemba Walker / Dwyane Wade / Kyle Korver
LeBron James / Jeff Green
Jae Crowder / Nicolas Batum
Kevin Love / Tristan Thompson

Awful

Sign me up for preferring Favors over Lopez.

Yeah, Lopez is overall the better defender but how will he defend against GS? They torch slow-footed bigs in the PnR and especially in transition. Favors is a faster option that can defend PnRs better.

We've done a great job managing Wade's minutes despite the fact that he's injury prone, so I have no doubt we could do the same with Favors.

There would have to be a deal with IT in place for someone like DJ before that trade ever happened.

I’m thinking we could then flip Kevin Love and our 1st for Damian Lillard:

IT3
Kemba
Lillard
Crowder
LeBron

Maybe at the last minute we can flip Crowder for someone like Patrick Beverly.

That will Help with our defense:

Beverly
IT3
Walker
Lillard
LeBron

Perfect fit......

We could flip Lebron for Chris Paul -- he's really strong and could play center in that lineup.

Pretty sure we could re-sign Kay Felder as well.

We would swarm the Warriors with wave after wave of tiny people. They won't know what hit them. It would be like Tie Fighters bringing down the Death Star.

Yeah....it crossed my mind...if we are getting CP3 back, they should at least throw in Eric Gordon...
