Trade Rumor(s)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Boogies deal should prime the pump a little. If we can swing a Big and a point, we should celebrate a little.

On the Boogie deal, I understand the attraction of playing Cousins next to Davis. But I think the twin towers team construct is a ship that has sailed. This is a guards league, not a centers league. Lebron is the NBA's best player because he is a guard built like a power forward. I think we need a big only because GS has two guys @275, and we have zero over 250. But if we had to choose between adding a big and a point, I would choose a point (especially a tall one)

Tyreke on a vet min buyout would be a Griffin class move. I see Tyreke as similar to JR before he came to us. Skilled with a selfish reputation. I think people were surprised at JR's ability to contribute to the team once he was paired with Lebron, and I think Tyreke could make a similar transition. There is no other way he gets a ring...

I can see us attaching ourselves to this deal with the TPE. Maybe taking back Galloway or even collision if sac wants to move him.

I actually hope Butler gets traded to the Celtics. That would probably mean Wade gets bought out...

I don't think that's likely. Wade is all about money at this point and i doubt Chicago would buy him out at full price. No reason to. Wade isn't taking a penny less

The Cavaliers $4.4m and .947k trade exception expire today. CLE has left a $4.8m, $2.2m, $1.3m and .980k TE. The TE cannot be combined.

Wade is all about money at this point
Dwayne Wade in his entire career on the Heat was never been the highest paid player despite literally willing that team to their first championship ever on his back

Wade also deferred the de facto leadership position to LBJ while he was still in the prime of his career (again taking less money than he could have just so this could happen) to help his team win championships

From all accounts it seems like he really tried to make things work salary wise with the Cavs this summer but the difference between what we could offer and what the Bulls could offer was over 20 million dollars. How could you possibly blame him for taking an offer 10 times what we could offer and say he's just about the money now

It's best to not talk about a subject when you have no idea what you're talking about

I liked your comment, but I don't disagree with the statement that "Wade is all about the money at this point." In fact, your comment just served to justify why Wade is all about the money at this point, and that we, as fans, shouldn't be upset at Wade for espousing that attitude (which I don't think anyone is).

Who cares about Wade right now? he isn't a good starter on this team and I doubt he is going to want to come off the bench after giving away free moneyz.

You're probably right, in that Wade is a moot point. He isn't much of a shooter, especially from distance, but he is a playmaker-type that we could use. I could see him starting so that, nominally, he's a starter, but playing most of his minutes with the 2nd unit.

But, again, he's not likely coming here.

He would be pretty good if he didn't lose his burst. Right now, he can't really break down the defense like he used to and he is mostly reliant on midrange and some other inbetween bs that we don't really need.
We also don't need anymore shooting guards.
I'm going to trust Griffin now to make the right decision. He deserves my trust and I know he wants it.

Griffin approaches every scenario with a "what would Sir'Dom Pointer respect?" attitude. Everyone knows this.

So much sass.

The entire reason Wade left Miami was because of money. He left Miami because he took pay cuts his entire career and now wants to make that money back. He's not going to just take a buyout and forget about that money.

And by what accounts did he try to make things work money wise with the cavs this year? What because Austin carrs kid said so? Or unreliable sources like incarcerated bob?

Maybe you shouldn't talk about a subject you have no idea about.

Yep. I think i'm going to give him a call and tell him to not stress it and that he has my full support.

On a side note, I really think we are going to get Tyreke Evans.

This is seriously such a misinformed post

The entire reason Wade left Miami was because Pat Riley didn't show him near the loyalty that Wade showed to that organization. Period.

And idk maybe the account I take into consideration most is Wade himself? Did you follow this situation at all

It's bewildering to me that anyone could blame Wade for leaving Miami with how horrible Pat Riley is.

I'll tone down the sas when you stop churning out the hottest imaginable takes in every thread

Nope, that's me.

** Matt Barnes is going to be released from the Kings. Do we have interest?
