The entire reason Wade left Miami was because Pat Riley didn't show him near the loyalty that Wade showed to that organization. Period.

And idk maybe the account I take into consideration most is Wade himself? Did you follow this situation at all

It's bewildering to me that anyone could blame Wade for leaving Miami with how horrible Pat Riley is.

Are you sure it is today ? If they expire on a weekend or holiday, the expiration pushes to the next business day. I can't find whether or not the NBA considers Presidents Day to be a a holiday that would push the expiration back a day.

I think it was more about Pat Riley than the money. After all Wade did for that organization he was treated like garbage at the end there. Don't forget they waited to give Wade that offer until they struck out on every other free agent imagineable

Eh, it wouldn't come out of LeBron's mouth though, because he's made it known that he's still actively seeking rings.

I'm guessing it will expire. The Cavs kind of have to roll the dice here pending a really good player suddenly coming available for that TPE.

A lot of potential quality buyout guys floating around. My guess is the FO doesn't want to fill that last roster spot until the dust settles.
