Well, with lou willy, they have at least one point guard expendible.. so Nene and Patrick Beverly?

Shump is 8 million, PB is 6 million Nene is 2.8 million. Makes sense since Shump basically takes place of brewer, but younger

Not saying I would, but to be considered.. in any case Nene is still useful. Beverly shooting 39 percent from 3 and is an assist machine. I don't know anything about his D.. but if the addition was

Korver, Dwill, Nene, Beverly and Sanders for Shump birdman and mo, I don't see how we could bitch..

Edited. PB makes 6 million

OK here's my shot at a 3 way without Beverly:
To Cavs: Ariza and Collison
To Hou: Shumpert and McRae
To Sac: KJ McDaniels + 2nd round pick

Beverly is a tenacious defender and gives Stephen Curry fits -sometimes-.

Beverly would be perfect as our backup point guard because he can shoot the 3-ball, defend, and get assists. I'd give up Shump for him and Nene.

You want Nene too? so generous of you :) They are not giving their only true Big body on the roster.
You need look from their perspective too.

Not sure how many minutes Nene is playing, but they list four guys at center, so I don't see it as negative for Houston as you do..but your point of view is reasonable. Nene is long in the tooth as well, but he fits in our world perfectly.

I think Shump helps them a bunch. Ariza is the only small forward they have and he is not young. If they are going to challenge GS, they need someone who can guard Green Durant and Klay .. I think they are a man down in that sense. They have a fair number of bigs to run at Javale and ZaZa..

But anyway..

I understand your reaction (at least I think I'm interpreting your Emoji correctly), but know that Larry Sanders is a nut bag of enormous proportions. He is talented, when he wants to show it, and when he wants to work at it...but, that is not always the case. It might not "usually" be the case.

He can be a real distraction. Disorderly conduct, two drug suspensions, heart not in it (after cashing big checks of course), depression, animal cruelty charges, multiple psychological disorders. The guy would be a rim protector, but he makes the NFL's Ricky Williams look like a choir boy.

So don't be so quick with the cute Emoji. This guy can help the team if he is there physically and mentally; or, he can distract it in a major way. That a risk that can't be taken lightly.
