Trade Rumor(s)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Haven't heard this from anywhere reputable but I've been working for the last 16 hours and up for the last 24...anyways would you consider trading
TT + salary filler
For
Andre Drummond
12 pick
I figure if the browns can spend 20 million on a second round pick (Osweiller) roughly $45 million ( the amount Drummond is owed over TTs contract) will get you a first rounder

Interesting that Porzingis is repped by Andy Miller. Not to mention so are Lue, Billups and supposed incoming GM Justin Zanik used to work there.

Getting drunk on tea leaves here but bear with me.

Phil leaks he wants a top-four pick
Suns want an established veteran
Billups about to become GM ("Cavs should trade Melo for Love")
Phil airing all dirty laundry on TV tonight
JR Smith tweeting goodbye Cavs

Could we see something like this in the offing?

Cavaliers
Carmelo Anthony
Kristaps Porzingis
Courtney Lee

Knicks
Eric Bledsoe
JR Smith
Channing Frye
Suns No. 4
Future Suns 1st

Suns
Kevin Love
Cedi Osman

No way in hell Suns do that trade.

Again, why would Pistons do that though?

I mean trading TT for Drummond is one thing but a pick as well? No chance imo!

Well they have only made the playoffs and finished above .500 once in 5 years, and next year is looking questionable even with Indy expected to drop. Not to forget he is still owed about a $105 million for a non franchise player - Just brainstorming

Not like TT solves anything for them.

Drummond for all his flaws, is individually a better player than TT.

So, it makes no sense for Detroit to trade Drummond for an inferior player and also a pick along with it.

They would do that trade if it was Love. But TT? No chance!

It's not going to be a straight up Love for Melo scenario. And as I said on my post I don't believe Timberwolves will be the 3rd team in the deal. But some team will play the facilitator and Cavs will get Melo.

Why?

Because Lebron wants it to happen, that's why.

What do you guys think will happen? Lebron going to say to Cavs Front Office that we stand pat and don't make any moves?

Lebron is bringing on Melo and somewhere in the deal Cavs will need to unload Kevin Love to make it happen because we have no other perceived positive assets than Love. (Not giving up Lebron or Irving obviously)

Brace for impact.

Still bracing. Can I relax yet?

Btw this thread is pretty entertaining to read during the Philly/Boston trade.

Turns out ainge isn't dumb and made one of the best trades in a very long time.

Not a rumor, just an idea.

How likely is it (with all picks and players other than LeBron on the table) that Cavs can get any combination of Kemba/Dwight/Batum? You’d think the Hornets would accept that next year would be Kemba’s last, and that their team is going nowhere. They probably want out of Batum’s contract. I’m thinking (hoping) they’d be willing to grab IT in a trade so they can pay him long term if they got Batum off the books.

Dwight?

I'm 100% all in for a Kemba/Batum pick-up; that'd be great!

No thanks on Dwight, but otherwise, I would too. But they would have to take Thomas, Thompson, and either Frye (who I don't want to trade), Crowder (we would still need wing depth if we move him), or Shumpert (no one wants Shumpert). So how much would they value dumping Batum vs. taking on the likes of Thompson and Shumpert?

Unless severe rifts have been repaired......LeBron, Wade, Melo, and CP3 all think Dwight is one of the corniest, obnoxious, least self-aware people in the world.

I don't think LeBron or Wade would want Dwight anywhere near this team.

The caveat being everyone has matured quite a bit going back to the original issues. But I don't see it...

If you go after Dwight, the real whale is DeAndre. Much more athletic, rebounding machine, better in P&R.
