Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
TT got screwed by the refs on that last call on defense on OT. Played Parker straight up well: Parker should have gone for the jumper but he got bailed out by the refs

Agree. Parker missing those FTs was justice served as the poet warrior Rasheed Wallace said:

Don't look now but TT averaging career best 1.4 blocks per game this season to go with a career high in rebounds (as well as the first time in his career eclipsing over 10 RPG at just 29 MPG

It's almost a miracle that Kerr hasn't adopted the "Hack a TT" strategy"...yet. You can bet it'll be in his scouting report this year.

Dude is straight POS at the line.

Well that jumper should be coming along any second now baby!

He's tried left handed and right handed free throws. Now it's time to try two handed free throws (underhand).

Kerr used it in Game 5 of the 2016 Finals. It didn't turn the game around.

Thompson shot just below 60% from the FT line in the playoffs last year but has taken a dip to just below 50% during the regular season this year.

I've been surprised that his FT% has dropped to around 50 this year. Before that, he was pretty consistently in the 60's. The year he attempted the most FT's of his career, 4.1 a game, he was at 69%! He improved significantly at the line every season until LeBron got here, and ever since LeBron got here' he's decline every season at the line. Probably because he doesn't work on his offensive game nearly as much.

Him and LeBron need to get together and put in some serious FT work pre-playoffs. I'll take 60% from Tristan and 75% from LeBron. Not asking for anything special.

I don't think he's quite bad enough for hack-a-TT to really truly be worth it on a consistent basis.

Also, when teams have done the Hack-A-TT in the past, he has usually drained the FTs. Happened in the Brooklyn game as well. He is very clutch late in the game as well when it comes to FTs.

Yea, if he can even split pairs when they do it, it's difficult to keep with it.

The problem with Hack-a-Thompson strategy is that Lebron doesn't mind cause he can get more rest lol.

I can't go back and get it... can someone snag a screen grab of his finger?
