He played with no problem whatsoever. It was a good decision to let him play a live game so he'll be mentally okay with the thumb limitations.

Thumb seemed not to bother him in terms of catching/rebounding.

Never. If they hack LBJ the Cavs will easily outscore teams during those stretches.


Hack a Tristan is going to be a legitimate problem against the smarter coaches though. He was already struggling pre+thumb. When he was a 58-62% guy last year it wasn't a worry...With that thumb I'm.afraid the Warriors are gonna be able to force him. Off the floor.

But as a rebounder/roll man/defender....TT was at his best tonight. He was a beast inside. That should continue. that rest definitely helped.him.

I want to see what the Cavs do when someone goes hack-a-Tristan.

To me, it's a tossup type of move because of LeBron. You do it, put the Cavs in the bonus, we take Tristan out and put LBJ at the 4 the rest of that quarter. Now you've gotta defend LeBron at power forward in the bonus.
