Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I am so for trading TT given we'd be the most likely to get something back that's actually good for him.

Now he, IMO, is more replaceable, too.

I rather have more size, shot blocking, and defensive rebounding at his position anyways.

TT starting at center, is just not ideal, IMO.

I'd kick the tires on Bogut, if healthy, is a better option anyways.
I'd still love to call up ORL and see if they'd take TT straight up for Biyombo, who gives you everything TT does in addition to elite shot-blocking.

Find a way to get Danny Green and Pat Beverly then hope Melo and Wade get bought out. That makes us a much more versatile and well-rounded team that can more than hold its own against the Warriors.

That is some nice dreaming there J and I like idea and if in anyway this comes close as It will not usually but this would help big time. Biyombo,Green,Melo,Wade,Beverly I would take even three of those two and be okay with it and feel good about the chances. Stranger things have happened but this trade to bring Green and Biyombo are doable and the but outs are possible. Beverly is the hardest to get IMO as the Rockets are not clear on what they want to do yet.

Green and Beverly's picture should become clearly when the Spurs and Houston decide if they are going to make a run at Chris Paul.

Not sure I've ever seen valuation of a player change as much as it has with TT. Consider what we offered during the 14-15 season, then the holdout, then the "wow, his contract his actually a steal considering where salaries are", to "nobody wants that contract."

I think maybe that $12/year was right all along. Too much of a niche guy to be worth what he's getting paid.

Is there a deal, any deal, any possible construct of a deal, that sends TT/Shump/Cedi whatever, not including Love or Kyrie, that gets assets to Indiana for Paul George?

Warm up those trade machines people!

Are we talking NBA trades or kidnapping Herb's family and trading them for Paul George ? I cant think straight right now ...

I think the Cavs should be beating down the doors of New Orleans to see what theyd offer for Shumpert. Its win now time, they have zero wing players. Its one the few teams in the league where Shumpert is an immediate upgrade over their starting wings.

So, lottery protected 2019 1st from New Orleans for Shumpert. Then send TT, Osman, and that pick to Indiana.

Other than Porzingid there isn't a center in the league that TT pairs better with. Turner is like THE guy to put Thompson next to while having him play power forward.

I dunno. They won't accept anything like this now...but if the Lakers dont up their offer beyond Clarkson and some late 1sts?

Either way, I'm still beating down New Orleans door about Shumpert whether we get George or not.

That would be the best move.
Trade tt for DJ, Love for Pg and a melo buyout that will have us over the hump for sure
and TT can be a full Kardashian in LaLa Land

Kyrie/?
Pg/jr/Kover
Bron/dwill
Melo/Frye
DJ/tavares
Would this work salary wise?

Would be great, but not sure if Clips entertain DJ for Tristan if Blake stays.

Bad signing.

I don't think he's a starting center. But in today's market; he's really not on a massive contract.

But that said, I think the Cavs should shop him, IMO. See what his market is.

It is a massive contract when he's a backup being miscast as a starter on a team with 3 max players.

I'm not sure all teams would view him the same way.

For example, I think TT could be a starter on a team with a center that spreads the floor more, and there's not two perimeter isolation players that get to the hoop so much.

TT as a power forward, is a bit different, and his natural position. But even if he's not a starter, he's still a 6th man quality player off the bench.

I don't think he's literally just a rotational player; like a Shumpert (maybe that's kind calling him one at this point).

Waant he supposed to go public with an injury ad explanation as to why he played poorly in the finals?

Was that not it? Is it being kept quiet because of trade talks?
