Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
TT hasn't been "model citizen" TT scam he came into the league with since the summer of 2015. After that season, he became a leach, a degenerate.

Interior Defense wasn’t an issue.

Indiana had 62 points in the paint.

But that's not really the point. The point is that you refuse to blame Lue for anything, and point all your fingers at the front office. Then in the post I quoted (and elsewhere), you've called for TT - who is on the roster - to get big minutes.

But then, when the coach you so ardently defend refuses to give a single minute to the guy you said should be getting a bunch, you refuse to blame him.

I have no issues admitting I was wrong and Lue was correct. He had a solid game plan and the players failed to execute in the 2nd half ..

Think about this .. Lue was forced to start a 37 year old Korver even though Altman had a massive trade chip in Kyrie and then he doubled down at the trade deadline bringing in bench players. Hill noone wanted. Hood traded from a playoff contending team for Crowder. Lakers a rebuilding team trades away 2 young vets pre peak years for compete garbage . Altman has yet to win any trade. All his trades look decent from the start and completely bomb once everyone is exposed. He has zero eye for talent and GM’s are fleecing him .

These guys arnt scrubs. Everyone that we've ever brought in hasn't played well, besides maybe Mo Williams. This is a problem with coaching and running an offense through one guy and not a team. So hard to watch anymore.

Sorry, wayyy off topic. Didn't realize what thread I was in. Delete if need be.

Actually, considering that we lost the game with Lue's choices of rotations, plays, and adjustments, he pretty clearly was wrong about something.

He had a solid game plan and the players failed to execute in the 2nd half ...

Or he failed to make adjustments to match the adjustments made by Nate McMillan.

Think about this .. Lue was forced to start a 37 year old Korver...

No, he wasn't. He chose to start Korver.

Lue is just as much to blame as Koby. Lue has done nothing to change his system to what he currently has. Same can be said for Koby for not giving him the right players to effectively run what Lue and the staff want to in their system. There is definitely a disconnect between the front office and coaching.

I don't think Lue really knows what his ideal PG needs to be with LeBron for this system. We have gone thru a decent variety of PGs and all he seems to ask them to do is what Kyrie did. He asked Rose and IT to drive and kick to the corners, yet failed to see they don't have that snap in the air pass that Kyrie and LeBron have. No adjustment to the system to add a trailer or something to bail out the PG.

Koby also didn't make adjustments to add possible fixes with the last two roster spots. We lost Frye so we were down a 3 point shooting Big that Lue has time and again tried to use Green as. I'm not sure I've seen a player of Wade's caliber trade away for nothing especially when he was clearly the reason why our bench unit was one of the better ones in the league.

Both have made mistakes but the ball is Lue's court right now and has been since the buyout deadline to make the necessary adjustments to the team to win. If anything Koby and Dan should step up and ask Lue to take a paid leave till he is 100% mentally healthy and let Larry Drew take over. The guy looks completely drained anytime I've seen an interview with him.

I fear the temptation will be to bring Thompson back into the rotation. But unless he's magically the Tristan of old crashing the glass and being a legitimate lob threat, he is going to make an already struggling offense even worse.

Exactly.

We need energy. But we also need offense.

Have Zizic play some mins when they have Oladipo on the bench.

Use Cedi to guard/trap Oladipo along with JR.

It’s now a completely new series with TT seeing the floor tonight !!! I’m pumped and feel confidant the Cavs win by 10ish !!

I think this may be exactly what we see this evening.

The Pacers will take the floor with a big new playoff contributor for them -- TRISTAN THOMPSON!
