Twin Peaks

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Totally agree. I feel like Lynch has really used the old cast well in these new roles. Outside of Audrey (remains to be seen), I like how the pieces fit. From mundane normal stuff (Shelly, Norma), to pieces that affect the story (Bobby) it seems to work pretty well. Even James' arc feels right.

Speaking of which, curious where this new development with the green glove kid goes. What is his true calling? I remember James bringing him to the Roadhouse in ep 1 and wondering what was up with the glove. Never expected it to be explained.

The dream sequence was so great. Monica Bellucci... as herself! Loved it. And she will probably be attractive into her 90's somehow.

Sarah Palmer... that was something. That scene made me think the bug in ep 8 crawled into her mouth as a child. There's something off there and it's more than just Bob.

Didn't even get to Andy in the White Lodge. So much to process.

Fuck, I forgot to mention Janey-E and Diane are sisters? Woah....

This revival is awesome. Fuck the haters. :chuckle:

If God was generous, he'd turn this into a series though.

I love GoT, and think Twin Peaks is every bit as captivating to watch right now as GoT.

It's why I won't watch both on Sunday.

I need time to digest both shows and can't watch them the same night.

Yeah I need at least 30 more parts.

Do we think Diane and Janey-E are really sisters? I couldn't tell if that was some sort of ploy to lure them to Vegas. Would Diane not notice that Dougie looked almost exactly like Cooper? Haha. I'm assuming they would have met at least once.

And Freddie with the glove... If this thing ends with Evil Coop defeated in an arm wrestling match... that would be hilarious.

They were estranged I guess. It's possible Diane and Janey-E weren't even speaking to each other by then. Still find it strange though, that Dougie would just like that marry Diane's half sister. Talk about a strange coincidence. So maybe Diane is lying.

That's a good catch about Freddie with the glove. That would be interesting. Wondering where that story is going.

Coop back! Fantastic episode.

Fuck! I've not watch the last two episodes that aired tonight. I'm savoring that shit. I'm watching 17 next Sunday, then 18 after that.

Just watched 16 tonight. Cooper is back!!!!! :bigshock::bigshock::eek4dance::eek4dance::alc::alc::alc:

Not going to lie, I got teary eye over it. Cooper is not only BACK, but he's back ready to go.

What about the FBI as Bushnell says goodbye.

Then Cooper relies proudly like the hero we've all been waiting for: "I am the FBI".

Only more proof Dale Cooper is by far the greatest character ever on television. He's just such a suave mother fucker. He pulls Janey-E and Sonny Jim together, while they both realize he's really not Dougie. And seem to love him more than ever because he's not. That he will be back, to be with them.

Then, when you figure maybe the fact he's actually an FBI agent, and although the Mitchum brothers are both lovable and generous. They're gangsters. Cooper reassures they're redeemed in his books, because they got a heart of gold.

By the way, speaking of the Mitchum brothers. What a fantastic moment when they visit Dougie's home. Holy fuck, these guys really are generous as fuck.

After the shoot-out between the hired assassin couple to kill Dougie and, who-the-fuck was that guy?

"What the fuck kind of neighborhood is this?"

"People are under a lot of stress Bradley" :chuckle:

That was priceless.

Fuck, I didn't get it Audrey.

Agree with all of the above. Amazing moment when Coop gets back to normal and starts directing and charming everyone's asses off. Television heaven. Couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

No comment on the final two episodes, but I will say that I'm glad they played them back to back... as there is a synergy there. I would recommend watching them that way, but that's just my thought.

Agree, of the many great moments this season provided, Coop waking up is tops. I also thought the Nine Inch Nails episode was some of the most freaky/interesting television I've seen.

I'm going back and forth on if the ending was genius or not. Lynch has the hook in my mouth and I'm the first in line for a new season, so in that regard, he definitely left me wanting more. I mean, this is David Lynch, you never get a clean ending.

And do we even want a clean ending? The mystery is the show. I loved it. It'll end up being one of those talked about forever finales, but I thought it was perfect. I think I get a good deal of it... though we can never really have it all figured out, nor should we.
