Tyronn Lue has been fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lue needs to be fired. Why is this still a topic, Dan?

I’ll give Lue another year but if longabardi still is in charge of defense after 3 straight years of progressively shittier defense??? I mean ‘18 was a fucking abomination.

If they don’t show longabardi the door, wtf are they even doing?

The biggest problem with Longabardi is he doesn't seem to understand the limitations of his players. He asks guys to do things they aren't capable of. If he doesn't adjust the defense to the new personnel, he needs to be fired immediately. IF Lue threatens to leave millions on the table, call his bluff.

That...and the fact that he looks like an ANGRY Oompa Loompa. Fucking midget looks pissed all the time. I hate him.

How can a basketball player take him seriously when he is 3 feet shorter than them?

I honestly expect Lue to do a solid job this year without being handcuffed by LeBron.

He’s made his share of mistakes that are 100% on him, but that can be said for any young coach.

Don’t forget how highly regarded he was as an up and comer when he was first hired as Blatt’s assistant.

Do not know how or why people think Tyron Lue is magically going to become a good coach. He couldn't develop young players, he couldn't gameplan for shit, he couldn't control his lockerroom and his players did not even listen to him on the court, WE DONT MAKE UNEDUCATED AND/OR DISTASTEFUL COMMENTS ABOUT CAVS PLAYERS/COACHES HEALTH ON THIS BOARD* Overplayed non performing players, could not make in game adjustments. I could go on for years.

I don't get it.

Well, I laid out my reasoning. I don’t expect most to agree with it, but only time will tell.

I'm Not a lue fan, but those 2 things could have been because of having LeBron on the team. Lebron was the leader on the court and did what he wanted when he wanted. As for the losing the locker room, I remember hearing about an incident at a film session where the coach called out a Cavs player for messing up on defense But said nothing to Lebron when he messed up. With that said, this is lue's chance to put his foot down and prove that he is a capable head coach.

I had to delete and/or edit all the posts that quoted Lyst's post. He has a problem with making distasteful comments about players/coaches and their health issues as well as misrepresenting the actual facts.

The quip about Ty Lue's health was uncalled for and frankly inaccurate. Dude had legitimate health issues to the point his doctors were legitimately concerned about him. It was a lot more than just stress/anxiety, which are no joke on their own. So I, as well as the rest of the mods and admins I'm sure, don't appreciate the way he keeps trying to spin their health issues and attack people within our organization.

You are censoring too much. I am not the only member with this feeling. Everything I said about both cases were based on the info given to us. Tyron Lue had to call other coaches to help him understand his stress and the pressure during that time off. Which is a large underlying issue that causes a multitude of other issues. Such as chest pains.

This article completely proves my point. He says "i am glad it wasnt anything serious, just anxiety. And the medication i am on is great. No more chest pains so everythings been great"

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...oach-tyronn-lue-reveals-being-treated-anxiety

Hence he was unable to perform his job and needed to take time off because of stress and anxiety. Nothing I said was ban worthy, delete-able, or wrong.
