Tyronn Lue has been fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Im sorry , but Caldron with Love at center is a disaster.
he should come off the bench if at all.

If Calderon didn't play at all tomorrow you'd be looking at TONS of minutes with Wade and Shumpert at PG duty.

Look at it this way, against a crap team Calderon and the rest of the starting lineup can still be fine. If anything it means even more offensive involvement for Love and Crowder.

Then in that scenario, the bench plays much the same as they have since training camp began.

But it you put Calderon with the bench unit, where the skill level around him is lower and he has to try and do more, that could be really bad.

So I think it makes sense to have Calderon in the starting lineup for tonight with the bench unit undisturbed.

Really, we have no choice.

JR has said he doesn't want to start, wants to get used to coming off the bench again, and you don't want Shumpert starting at PG.

Only way to keep rotations similar to last night is Calderon at PG. Just hope they go small minutes with him, and reach down and extend the wing rotation a bit to fill in some of Rose's time with the bench unit.

Think with Orlando missing their PG and rolling with more wings themselves last night, this would be a smart game to plug Cedi in for a few minutes.

We will be fine for sure against a short handed Magic team.

Would have liked to see Wade take more PG duties aswell, so I thought this would be a good opportunity.

Without Rose, I think we see a lot of our offense come from the Lebron post ups and even Love.. that's a good offense, but I would have liked to see us practice some PnR actions with Wade as the ball handler. Maybe it happens if Calderon acts as a 2 guard.

If Rose is only out 2-3 games, than Calderon starting makes sense to me.

If it's more than that, I'd be more on board with changing some other things up.

The good news is our upcoming schedule: Orlando, Chicago, Brooklyn, New Orleans, New York, Indiana

I'm fine with Calderon starting. I doubt he gets heavy minutes. Lue likely wants to keep JR and the other guys on the bench to start to get them used to their roles. If we start cycling players in and out of the starting lineup it could throw things off. Besides, we're playing Orlando.
yeah.. we wouldn't want to throw things off.

Horrible coaching today by Ty.

He has to take responsibility for us playing so carelessly and lackadaisical. JR and Wade haven't looked good at all. It would be good for us as a team and both JR and Wade individually as well, if we just go with JR starting and Wade coming off the bench. Its early but its pretty evident its not working. The sooner Ty realizes that and addresses it the better.

Another game of not using timeouts effectively.

If our players are out of shape, you think he'd use his timeouts.

But no. He's a moron.

Was never sold on Lue, always thought he rode JBJ's coat-tail. Not going to overreact over one game, but I was never sold on him from the jump. Without James and Irving playing at a super hero level, we would not have won that championship. I would go as far as saying we should not have won; we just had two special players that carried Lue. Our iso ball was a double edged sword, disruptive, but effective.

Tonight, Lue was probably like "Aye, Kyri......Ah $hit.....gotta coach now, dammitt...."

I don't see why he cannot get canned and bring someone in here that can utilized this talent. Way too talented to be losing like that, I can admit that much. Still only one loss, better than GSW
