Our LB core has been a huge issue of mine all year. I know Schobert grades out well according to PFF, but he is not nearly as great as our fan base makes him.

I think going into next year. Primary focus must be offensive line and defense.

We obviously need another playmaker but those are by far the biggest things to address if we're going to take the next step.

Our offensive line is not ready to go against a team as talented as a front seven like the Texans. They got destroyed today. They were beaten all day badly in the trenches. It was going to be a tough game for Baker no matter what.

And this defense isn't good enough yet. WE got to address those two parts.

Our defense against a 3rd and nine play was a true WTF moment, left the whole middle of the field wide open allowing an easy first down. Just typical Gregg defense.

How many times have we had them stopped in the backfield and completely missed the tackle?

Or tackled them and they still gain a yard or two.

Not getting off the field on 3rd and longs sets you up for failure. Immediately dig a hole and get buried in TOP. Offense and QB start pressing and turnovers commence.

Baker was awful in the first half, but it's been a team wide disaster.
