Week 14: Shits @ Bills

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Duke Johnson against a linebacker is the best mismatch you can have. I don't like RG3 at all, and think he's awful, but that was the 100% correct read/throw.

That would have been a big play if it wasn't blatant defensive holding/interference.

I think down and distance comes into play on this. First or 2nd down, cool go for it. 3rd and 4, move to next read and keep the drive going. Can't rely on the Refs to make the call.

So you think LBs should be able to cover RBs one on one? That's essentially your argument.

They weren't relying on the call. It was a designed play. Did you watch Monday Night Football last week, when Brady had the same mismatch? The running back went for 59 yards.

Any QB with any sense at all is going to his good receiving running back when he has him out in the slot covered by a linebacker. The linebacker was in no-man's land, and did what only he could do and that's hold him..

I'm sure that might be the right read if he excutes it properly. I felt like he waited on the throw though.

I guess Tom Brady was a moron for going to a running down on third down, covered by a linebacker, and went for 59 yards.

You keep thinking they were hoping for a call. No, they were going to have a big play and the hold/interference was the only thing keeping that from happening.

Waited for what? He threw it as Johnson was breaking open. Had to wait a half second for Johnson to clear the LOS and the WR on that side to clear out. He read it fine.

If it wasn’t for the name on the back, you’d have no idea that the RGIII that played for Washington and the RGIII that plays for us are the same guy.

If I'm RG3 I'm not worried about next year, just hold another shorts and t-shirt workout this offseason for the coaching staff and he'll be part of our future once again.

I probably hate RG3 too much to see it clearly at this point. I have no clue what Hue and the coaching staff see in him. I'd much rather see Cody Kessler over this crap.

Those two missed penalties were huge.

All the pre-game talk about how RG3 made a jump in practice this week is exactly the same as his workout. I bet he is no contact in practice and anyone would look good against our defense. Hue should announce the offensive play calls to the defense for half of practice so the offense can get some real reps.
