Week 15 (12/20): Browns (3-10) @ Seahawks (8-5) [4:05 PM EST, FOX]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Damn, thought we had this one. :chuckle:

If our offense, defense, and special teams had just played a lot better, it was ours.

I think our special teams played just fine.

Even with Gronk, and Edelman out, our skill positions are better than the Pats. Not suggesting anyone on our team is as good as Gronk, just the overall crop of receivers, line, and running game is better.

Their line is much worse than ours.

Brady was handing off the ball to a guy name Iosefa yesterday. I know a few hardcore Pats fans, and they have never heard of him.

He was averaging 3.2 yards per carry and Gronk gets a lot of attention. Not only that but the Browns beat Tennessee as well.
plus you really expecting a 2nd year qb with less than ten games to play like Tom Brady against the Seahawks.

Wasn't even referencing Johnny's play. Just pointing out yes, we don't have the most talent on offense.

But there are teams in the league that have worst talent than us on that side of the ball. They just have much better QBs.

I don't think Johnny was that bad yesterday. I don't think he's been that bad for many of the games this year. He's just not been that good either.

Just being okay shouldn't be celebrated. He just is what he is, a guy that can make some plays happen. But is really limited and always will be IMO.

Once again your point is lost when you point out a team beating a team that Manziel and company beat with a similar score.

Cam Newton struggled last season. He was determined to make himself a solid pocket passer. This season he was able to combine a solid pocket game with his exceptional running skills.

Manziel needs time to develop in the pocket. You can tell he is committed to it and that is usually the hardest step in transitioning a spread qb into the NFL.

I don't see either Goff or Lynch beating out Manziel for the starting job next season. Browns are better off drafting a guy like Wentz in the 2nd round and getting an impact player in the first round.

For a guy well known for objectivity...if you don't see them beating him out, it's definitely not worth it.
