Week 15: Bengals (8-4) @ Browns (7-6) | 1:00 p.m. | FOX

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Love how many of you are ready to throw in the towel on Manziel after 1 game. It's no wonder the Browns never win shit.

That was the worst performance by a QB, I can ever remember. Rookie or not.

Is it really out of the realm of possibility that we need to move on from this guy now?

Should we really waste more time on him?

Only in Cleveland do we go from having two good quarterbacks to none at all. Time to start looking at mock drafts again:banghead:

Was Marvin running up the score at the end? Usually I don't care about shit like that but man, after all the Jeremy Hill stuff...insulting as fuck.

Your're forgetting Cincy isn't a team who's been to the post season 3 straight seasons and have a team full of vets and a 10+ year head coach. Did you forget how bad our run defense was? How many procedure penalties did we have on offense. Joe Thomas had yet another one.

Also for whatever reason the coaching staff wanted to run read options all day. As bad as we have looked the latter half of the season what did you expect from a guy who's taken 10 snaps all season.

Manziel - Rookie
West - Rookie
Crow - Rookie
Seymore - Rookie
Agnew - Rookie
Rookie head coach

No doubt the whole team was miserable. It's my belief that we ram so much read option because Johnny doesn't know the playbook.

To make that judgement after 1 game is ridiculous. Front offices thinking like that is how you get cellar dwellers.

So you think we should have let Hoyer keep playing for 2-3 seasons?

We should have let Anderson keep being the starter?

Your black and white analysis is easy to lean back on, but that is just not how sports work.

Every individual should be evaluated. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't see why we would waste any more time on this guy. My prediction is that he would bring us down time and time again. The only thing we would be wasting is the other talented players on our team who we have signed.

It's not a one game judgement either. It is his whole football career. He is too small. His head isn't right for this league.

1. Certainly a big problem, but I don't see it being a problem moving forward. I fully expect him to work his ass off in the offseason.

2. How is he supposed to improve? You have to play and make those mistakes we saw today before you can improve.

3. He had one of the highest wonderlic scores in the draft; he's no dummy. He definitely has a lot to learn about an NFL offense though because of the basic system he played in college, and I think it will eventually happen.

4. I really don't see this. There are a couple teams that don't need QBs, but there are way more at the top that do. Unless you want to package both our 1's, a 2, and a 4, I don't see it happening. We need to build depth, see what we have in Johnny, then reboot after next year if necessary.

The Jets and the Titans are the only teams I think go QB at number 1. If Jax, Oak, Or Tampa get the top pick I could easily see them moving it.

No one calling for Hoyer to be benched can say its unfair to start judging manziel. Hoyer has all of 16 starts for the browns now

It's not that ridiculous when you wanted nothing to do with him from the get go. I fully believe Haslam pulled the trigger because of his popularity. There's a reason he slipped, I think he goes to the second or third if we don't take him.

Tampa definitely needs a QB, but I guess I could see Lovie not wanting a rookie QB.

Either way, I think this team needs to worry first about getting better all around or it won't matter if we have Jesus Christ himself as our QB.

Not once has Browns fans been wrong after the fans have thrown in the towel.

This really is the worst scenario for us. We learned Hoyer isn't the future but we will likely stick with Johnny because they probably won't write him off after 3 games. So we can waste another season and take another QB in 2015.

I disagree. This team has enough talent to compete with a competent QB. We saw that when we were healthy and Hoyer was playing well. Get Mack back and it's a totally different line. Don't have your entire d line get hurt and maybe you can stop the run.

Are you trying to say Jesus Christ can't throw a spiral?
