Week 5: Jets @ Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That would be an awful decision. A lot of their draft picks have looked really good. Why would you fire them after two seasons? That type of thinking is why our organization has been a total failure for so long.

I don't even know...who...across the board wants this fucking gig.

Remember when Modell hired Belichick this was thought of as a top flight, historic job.

If I was a candidate for this job? I'd probably hang up before the words "Cleveland Browns" could be uttered on the phone.

I mean if you can find Jon Gruden wanting to play the Dick Vermeil role with the Rams or Nick Saban wants it? Be my guest. But that ain't happening.

They drafted a few players that might/are good, so we should keep them around? What?

Dude, we might have just 3 wins, combined, in two seasons. Let that sink in.

The way they've put together an NFL roster, is well, fucking shitty.

You don't keep a front office around because they might have drafted some good football players.

Given the thousands of draft picks we have, and the number one overall draft pick. It's almost impossible to not hit on a few.

These guys are incompetent tools.

Hue has been sub par. I will not deny that, but we are out gaining them in passing and rushing. Got to their QB and got a pick.

We missed two FG's that should've been made. Two redzone turnovers and another pick to boot. To try and pin this pending loss on Hue is dismissing all the things that should be done sans coaching.

I don't know if he's our worst head coach. This I'll say in Hue's defense, this front office is dog shit. Maybe our worst front office yet. They got to go, for sure!

Subjectively speaking I don’t think Hue is the worst coach we’ve ever had...but at the same time he hasn’t shown us a single damn reason why he’s not worthy of having that distinction.

I also don’t know if this front office is our worst yet...there’s too many players that have question marks right now. Our last front office with Ray Farmer was FAR worse, to me. Virtually every player selected ended up being busts.

I was talking about the front office, not the coach. Firing our front office after their second season would be a monumental, colossal, dumbass mistake. It's that type of thing that has kept us so bad for so long.

I can understand firing Hue after this season if the team continues to look as bad as it has. It really seems like he's not getting the most out of anyone. But as you said, not sure who will be willing to take the job when we keep firing coaches every two years.

The "Rebuilding" line is an excuse.

That needs to stop right now. Either put together a team that can win now or continue being this shitty.

I dont care one way or the other. Fire Hue, Keep Hue, I dont care. I prefer to keep the FO, but I wont be heart broken to see Hue leave.

What's frustrating is you see teams turn it around in a year or so.

And we just can't even be mediocre.

It's just crazy.

I don't really care I'm just stunned that in 18 years we can't find any sustained success whatsoever. It's truly a remarkable achievement to be this terrible.

You do realize that they completely tore down the team last year, right? The whole point was to finally commit to a full rebuild, and you don't fire your front office two years into a full rebuild.

Sashi and Paul didn't miss 3 FGs and have 3 red zone TOs. Game they should have won today, if not for some pants shitting in scoring zones.

On to week 6.

That was a nice run by Johnson. Too little too late though.

I don't think it's said enough just how bad Hue's decision making is.

From playcalls, to challenges, to going for it when he shouldn't.

I mean he's horrible at managing a game.

He's like the anti Francona.
