Smh @ Baker.
That's the 2018 Browns. Never give up, never quit... but never feel confident you have a shot at winning.
I'm still pissed about him whiffing on his blitz blocking assignment. Those plays early in the game is where games are lost.
Only 2 minutes away from being that much closer to that elusive 9 win season
Losing is always unfortunate but the offense had a pulse and looked pretty capable of moving the ball. Chubb looks legit; if we can find a couple more mismatch-inducing pass catchers and fix the turnstile/incompetence at tackle I like the direction in which it can go — a lot.
At least it’s worth watching and I don’t have to look for other stuff to do on sundays until school starts for me again.
This defense will give up another 30+ next week, maybe even 50+. Atlanta will be trying very, very hard. Just gotta hope Baker looks good again and makes it out alive.
ST penalty in the last minutes lmao
Nailed it except for the whole game flow thing.
Darn, I missed the game.
Yes, the Browns got beat handily, but it felt like - maybe for the first time all year - that the coaching (at least offensively) was actually competent/a net positive
The Browns just ran into a loaded team clicking on all cylinders. No shame in losing to a superior team when your whole defense is ravaged by injuries.
I was at the game today... The chiefs clearly are just on another level and it gives me a lot of hope since Dorsey built that team. We’re lacking a couple horses on def and a true #1 wr. Get those issues taken care of and we’ll be in great shape!
Why are the chiefs allowed to block from the back like that?
Browns defense was not on point, but were in a huge disadvantage. I wish the Browns could block like that.
For the same reason the refs could reverse a blocking foul to a charge in the GSW finals. Cleveland versus the world.
