weekly who to start thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd go with Flacco, pick up Kahlil Bell, and I'm all in on Gaffney this week. We agree on S-Jax. Keep an eye on K. Smith and Maclin's health. I still don't trust Maclin and I will be benching him. Robinson is a fine replacement if need be.

Good luck!

If you get a chance I'd like your opinion on my above posted lineup/questions. I think I'm set with the only real questions being whether or not Cruz should hit the pine or if you think that Tate will get enough carries to run all over the Colt's D.

I wouldn't go with Tate. His injury plus production last week against an even worse run defense lead me to believe he won't get you anything substantial.

Thanks, but I'm curious why you'd go with Flacco. Granted, Fitz is always a shaky play, and Locker might not play. But Flacco over Moore vs NE? Not that I want the Browns to lose, but Baltimore will probably run the ball 50+ times on us for 200 yards this week. Plus, it's not like he had a great outing vs us the first time (4.22 points in my league).

I guess I see what you are saying with the matchup... but he is still Matt Moore, which doesn't excite me much. We both know he isn't an NFL starter. Is Rex Grossman still available? Carson Palmer? BTW, I'm starting to loosen my hard line stance on Maclin. I just saw that Dallas will be without their best cover corner, and they weren't too impressive in the defensive backfield to begin with. I dropped their defense for Washington.

I got you. I think you go with Cruz. Sure he isn't totally consistent, but Bowe isn't consistent either, and Andre Johnson is supposed to be out. If you go with Bowe, you are gambling that Orton gets the start and immediately clicks. Do you want to take that risk in the championship?

I agree that you take a pass on Ben Tate. He is still a huge gamble in that you are hoping the game is a blowout, and the coaches decide to overwork Tate instead of Foster, who wants his stats just as much. Blount is a safe pick, and he just might score a touchdown or two against a Carolina defense that impresses nobody.

Deep down I know you're right, I was just thinking about how I'd kick myself if Tate went in and put up a ton and Blount fizzled like he's been known to do. Cruz isn't really a question for me anymore, the only real question I had was if I should start Andre over him but that seems to be a moot poiint now.

No, they're both on rosters.

Onto Moore: I think it's likely that he gets me 15-18 points safely, which is probably better than I can expect from the others. And, no he's not a NFL starter, but it doesn't take much to put up points on NE. Chad Henne (35.54), Vince Young (23.00), Dan Orlovsky (21.02) have all put up big games against them. Even Grossman put up over 15 points against NE. Add to that that Mia will be throwing the ball a decent amount trying to catch up, and I'm liking Moore this week more and more.

Need 1
Romo Vs Phi
Stafford Vs SD

Need 2
Reggie Wayne Vs Hou
Demaryius Thomas @ Buf
Heyward-Bey @ KC

Need 1
Blount @ Car
Marion Barber @ GB
Ben Green-Ellis Vs Mia

Need 1
Antonio Gates @ Det
Tony Gonzo @ NO

Need 1
Seattle vs SF
Denver @ Buf
Houston @ Indy
Our bench is pretty big and just picked up Houston because they play Indy.

Could use the input have been picking the wrong players all year. Thanks!

Wow, it sounds like your back is against the wall. Well, I guess I'd take a chance with Moore over Flacco and Fitzpatrick. I'd still like to know which starting QBs are available in your FA pool.

Remember, it's a 14 team league and most guys carry 2 QB's.

So, here the QB's available:
Matt Moore
John Skelton
Christian Ponder
Dan Orlovsky
Blaine Gabbert
Kyle Orton
Seneca Wallace
Kellen Clemens
Josh McCown

as much as it might suck (especially since he got me here) but do i bench beast mode this week? san francisco's run defense is far and away the best in the league. replacements would include helu, blount and k. bell

Blount been killing me the last couple weeks. Doesn't help they start off slow and have to go to the air. I'd try to stay away from him if you can.

I'd play Helu. He is going against the second-worst team in the NFL over the past month.

bcortell: It sounds like you really want to go with Moore. Who am I to stop you?

I'm trying to flip a coin between Seattle's defense at home against the Niners or Washington at home against Minny. I'm also flipping a coin between Gaffney and Maclin right now.

Marion Barber didn't practice today. Bell ought to get even more touches. Can someone give me their opinion on some of my picks?

Blount

Gates

Denver or Houston

What astounds me is that, coming out of the draft, I had Evan Moore and Winslow as my TEs. Now in the playoffs I have Gronk and Gates, just an example of how many damn moves I've made over the course of the season.

Semifinals of my fantasy playoffs..
please help :p

RB: (PICK 2) Bradshaw @ NYJ or Benson vs ARI or McGahee @ BUF

WR: (PICK 2) Demaryius Thomas @ BUF or Victor Cruz @ NYJ or Antonio Brown vs STL or Roddy White @ NO or Nate Washington vs JAC

RB/WR: Pick someone not picked yet

thanks :)
