I think they would pretty much give us Kemba and kiss our ass if we took Batum's contract off their books.
If we get kemba and batum and not give up Sexton cedi or zizic I am all in. Adding kemba batum Sexton and using zizic and cedi makes us a much better team imo. Hill has a decent contract to give back as does jr and korver

Maybe not now, but at the trade deadline Charlotte may see the logic in this.

To me its all about how well can batum play, because I can accept batum if he has an expensive contract but at least be contributing. it all boils down to is he better or worse than J.R.

I would say he's the equivalent of JR Smith. He has more talent and athletic ability but dude has zero passion for the game. Dude don't care and now that he got that fat check he really doesn't care.

Just Windy's opinion. However, maybe it really is about lifestyle/family for him. Find out in a few weeks..

Well it's not that hard either, just look at the odds. The two favorites are the Lakers and the Cavs. Pretty telling if you ask me

Well last time it was Cavs or Knicks. Miami then signed him out of no where. When Bosh and Wade teamed up people assumed he was going to Knicks staying in CLE or Bulls as an outlier. So I don't buy the LA or CLE rumor.

I would be keeping my eyes on PHI despite the rumors saying its LA or CLE. People say him and Simmons wouldn't work but LBJ wants to play off the ball more and PHI has all the pieces in place. Simmons - Covington - LBJ - Saric - Embiid. Tall lineup with 4 players who can always switch and challenge shots with height. PHI is the team to watch out for because they are in the east and have the pieces in place.

LA is in same position as us without a 2nd All-star we have KLove or if we trade KLove for another player of similar caliber we are in a better spot then LA to contend. So I don't buy Windy and other media outlets saying its LA or CLE.

My issue is Kemba is in the last year of his contract. Don’t see why we have to dump a first round pick for a one year rental.
The price of taking on. Batum’s deal is kemba. They can have hill and whatever else we need to throw in contract wise but no young players back to them
Keep Sexton and let him play behind kemba Keep cedi. Keep zizic

Exactly, how much can Charlotte ask for to get rid of that contract? Assuming Lebron stays, Walker plays for a year while Sexton plays back up and hopefully improves. Somehow get rid of Hill? The Cavs should have a solid group at point guard and it's only Dan Gilbert's money. lol.

Hill and whoever is needed to make the money work minus Sexton.
Don’t see why, If the Cavs are taking Batums horrendous contract of Mike’s hands, they have to give up Sexton.

Agree. Not sure what the market is for him. Think we are going to keep Sexton, but still looking at Kemba. We will see if they can pull something off.

I would offer Clarkson, Hill and JR. Charlotte's current GM drafted Clarkson, so he might like him. JR contract is over after next season. They could buy out Hill, but even if they keep him they save at least 25 million in year 3.

Some of you seem to be missing the fact that Koby and Ty both are genuinely excited about the youth moving and player development. The young assets are not getting traded. Maybe Love and some expiring but that’s it.

I bet if we can find a protected 1st round pick we can get the deal done for Kemba. Orlando might be the team to look to. They have OKC's 2020 top 20 protected pick. They also just drafted Bamba and have Bismack Biyombo for the next 2 years at 17 million per year. We could take Biyombo and flip the 1st round pick to Charlotte.

Biyombo would be alot easier to swallow if we could move TT.

Kemba - Kawhi - Lebron would beat Boston. And have a better chance against GSW. Cavs should have won 2 games against GS this year with a 1 man team. A 3 man team would have been awesome.

But I also don't think they have enough for both. Or probably even just Kawhi.

Getting Kawhi is a hundred times more important than Kemba. Do what you have to do to get Kawhi while preserving as much of the 41 million of expirings as possible. George isn't going to LA alone so be willing to trade Love-Cedi-Sexton for Kawhi and try to sign George 12 months from now as a free agent. Kemba is the plan B you can do at next year's trade deadline.
