Theoretically Ante Zizic

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Yea, I don't think he is close to Jokic at all, or even at the same level as Nurkic right now... but if there is a comparison, he looks more like Nurkic.

Doesn't matter, he should play.

he has made 20+ points in the last 3 canton games. I know g-league and nba are a total different level, but it shows that he can play. I don't get why we never play this kid. It is not like we are doing well without him. This could be his moment to shine. At least he will show some effort.

I think they're not playing him because he is a traditional center, and because he doesn't fit the style of play they use when either Love or TT is at center. Also, because Lue doesn't want to do anything that would take minutes from veterans.

While I think those are the reasons, I also think they are bad reasons. Blatt shifted seamlessly from starting TT to starting Moz. Lue, on the other hand, appears to be one of those coaches who prefers a specific type of offensive style, and doesn't use players who don't fit it. He also places too high a priority on appeasing veterans with minutes.

This could have been a somewhat fun season if our two rookies had gotten significant playing time. If the regular season doesn't matter much to LBJ -- and it clearly doesn't -- then why not use it to give playing time to those who needed it the most? The entire team likely would have played with a bit more energy/effort.

Instead, we not only put a crappy product on the floor, but we took an enthusiastic, hard-playing rookie in Cedi, and turned him into a lump on the bench. Horrible coaching, horrible player development.

I agree. Cedi is a good player who gives his best effort every second he plays, no matter what the score is. He got benched the second he started to get some meaningful minutes.

He might get some burn now... unless Cavs get a center on buyouts and waivers

Kings released Georgios Papagiannis today.

He was selected 10 picks before Zizic and his team already gave up on him.

Tomorrow would be a very good opportunity for Zizic to show Lue he can contribute.

Not fair on the kid but I hope Lue gives him some game-time with Love out injured, Frye leaving and TT playing like a bitch.

Him and cedi the two player we have on the books the longest

Years from now we will be hanging jersey from the rafters after he becomes a Cavs lifer and spends a few seasons as one of the teams focal points.

Don't trade ante

We need to develop this guy and get out from under TT's contract.
