Welcome Deron Williams

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Deron is so passive. He looks downright scared to shoot the ball. I heard LeBron scream at him to shoot the ball after he passed up what seemed like his 3rd or 4th wide open 3 he turned down tonight

Since the acquistion, it literally feels like Deron Williams does nothing. At least Derrick came in with a purpose and an impact - as @Gimme Some Mo said, he's just totally passive in his approach to the offense and is contributing very little.

Why isn't Deron Bacon Grease Williams on Kevin Love's diet and on Kevin Love's bike during games? It's like he's gained 14lbs since he's been acquired...

Do we have our own Hot Plate Williams?

Deron Williams just looks like one of those guys where the minute he retires he’s gonna gain 50 pounds.

I realize Kyrie was on this game, but when we brought Deron in, he didn't run the offense at all. He just went and stood in the corner and Kyrie went to work. Not sure what the point of playing him is if he's just going to stand in the corner. His best talent is running a pick and roll offense, and we have him stand in the corner.

We didn't run one DeBron pick and roll either. He was rarely in with LeBron until the 4th quarter.

This may also be why he was passive when he did have the ball.

I'm looking at Lue on this one... know your personnel, coach.

I wish they used the clippers game and other throw away games to develop plays that Deron could set up guy for easy shots. Just plays that they can turn to when they need to give LBJ or Kyrie some in game rest. They seem to be more concern yesterday of using JR and Shump to simulate Kyrie and LBJ to keep the sets the same.

Call me crazy but I wish we signed Nate Robinson instead.

While what you are saying is true, he passed up (and has been passing up) quite a few open shots. In the playoffs, Lebron and Kyrie are gonna play 40+ min. each and control the ball the entire game. If Deron can't play without the ball and take and make open spot up shots, then he shouldn't even be on the court, because he doesn't provide anything defensively either.

He's been dissapointing so far...just a guy out there does nothing much to impact the game

Why? Williams has shown us nothing useful so far. Nate Robinson is hungry to play again and can create his own shot for himself and others. His defense would be lacking but it cant be any worse than Dwills.

He's a point guard.. playing with LeBron. It took Kyrie, also a point guard, a full season to learn how to play with LeBron. People need to chill.

I think Lue should play him without LeBron and Kyrie on the floor. He seems to want to set his teammates up rather than shoot the ball. He can't do that with either of them on the floor because they have the ball in their hands most of the time.

Edit: Lue should play him with Love and the other bench guys.
