I don't understand why they didn't just watch some tape of the Lebron-Delly pick and roll from last year and then re-run it a lot with DWill. That play was really good with Lebron and Delly it should be unstoppable with Lebron and DWill.

This is a case of Lue playing close to the vest. They ran a version of it around FT line 3-4 times in like Deron Bills' third and fourth games or something like that. But after that they mothballed the play and you really haven't seen much of LeBron screening for Deron. I doubt it's because they didn't think to do it more....

I have issues with how we are playing Deron Williams. He needs to be used significantly more in the pick-and-role. With that said, the fact that people are saying he is doing nothing is astounding to me. Since we signed him most of our players are shooting better from 3pt range. Frye and RJ are both shooting over 52% on catch-and-shoot threes on passes from Deron. He is a good player, but we are still working him into the offense, which is to be expected when the guy is a point guard.

He actually looks confused on defense. I don't know if it's a lack of communication, weird game planning, Deron being new, Deron being old, something else, or a combination, but it is quite odd. He was a solid defender this year for Dallas, and a history as a very good defensive PG.

Probably a case of him not feeling comfortable with the team unless he stopped trying on defense.

I've been reading it that way because of Korver's slow transition, and his past history as a good defender. Hopefully just a matter of getting acclimated.

I think he's looking to pass a little too much...almost like he is overwhelmed to shoot since he has all that spacing and LeBron on the floor with him and doesn't want to miss the chance at generating a better shot for a teammate when his shot attempt would be better.

Per 100 shot attempts numbers with us, in comparison to other stops, is eye opening. 7 less attempts per 100 possessions than his career average, 2 less 3PA per 100 possessions than his career average...so his shot attempt rate has fallen off a cliff with us.

Think he needs to take more shots to open his passing up more with us. People need to respect that he is willing to shoot in order to drive and kick, or set up guys cutting off his penetration with more efficiency.

Makes sense. I am getting more annoyed with the players that are faking instead of taking the 3, and ending up with a worse look.

I'd swear I've seen him hit at least a couple of threes, unless I dozed off while he was on the floor and dreamt it.

Of course hes hit threes.

Hia percentage for the last 5-10 games is very high (albeit on low attempts per game).

I believe hes at 1-2 attempta per.

I've beat Deron up a few times here in the past but I wanted to mention I thought he played well against Denver last night, one of the few guys I wasn't mentally cussing out.

It doesn’t seem like he’s really “clicked” with this team at all, and I’m unsure as to why. Ever since he joined the team and took charge of our second unit, it’s been a disaster.

He had been a huge negativity in this team ! The team was playing good without him then ...... Just wave him or make him a garbage time player.
