Welcome Deron Williams

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This is all just gonna ricochet the other way.

People are gonna remember the fond times with Derrick Williams until he actually gets back in the rotation and then it'll hit em again that, hey, this guy sucks too.

If they remove Deron Williams from the line-up they have no ball handler off the bench. I repeat, no ball handler.

It's not an option.

Lot of great stuff in here.

Comparing Kyrie to Steve Nash though? They are nothing alike.

I am saying modern pg who scorres. Isiah Thomas was a modern pg too, could of used him but he was wrong generation.

I feel nash was the first to set this PG frenzy of today. I realize there were older players like Jerry West or Oscar Robertson, but it was Nash and his 3 point shooting and scoring on top of his assists and speed of play that sent the tone for todays pg's. Not comparing their game, saying Deron is more of a throwback to older style. More Jason Kidd than Isiah Thomas.

Not for removing him from rotation, but surely would like to see less minutes from Deron.

And more to who?

Liggins is gone.

Lue isn't gonna play Derrick Williams.

Shumpert doesn't deserve to be on the floor at all.

So...more minutes for LeBron and Kyrie, I guess. That's the only thing that makes any sense.

I don't think Deron Williams is playing well by any means, mind you. But he's the only option. There's no one else to turn to.

I see what you mean now.

Really brutal comparison and explanation.

Yeah, bad example, but was trying to point out why Deron lost some of his ability, at one time he was the 2nd best pg in the league, and he isnt so old that he should be this useless.

We need him at 10 to handle the ball when Lebron and Irving sit, so who plays instead?

Korver and RJ should pick up the minutes.

Not looking to put a ball handler in there, looking to add shooting and length.

It was working before, might need to be what we go back to.

BACON GREASE IS SIZZLIN'!!!!!!!!!!

Derrick Williams may be another “project” that we keep for next year,
Derrick Williams asked for his release from the Heat because of lack of PT

I think Lue screwed the pooch on Derrick coming back when after he did everything he was brought in to do he was completely scrapped from the rotation and couldn't even get minutes when RJ was out

I don't even like Derrick that much. But, hell, you notice how some good teams end up taking table scraps and finally making something out of it?

I thought, hey, you know, maybe for once we could be one of those teams. The guy does display somethings you like.

But, not playing for nearly a month, then playing, and fans expect that guy to not miss a beat is so unfair. It's not just easy to turn it on that way after being cut out of the rotation and being completely out of rhythm.

I just think he at least provides different attributes that aren't the exact same things a Shump or JR provide.

Maybe he's not that good, but newsflash, we are playing guys that aren't that good. What is the harm of giving him something?

He played better and less tentative tonight... hopefully this help bolster his confidence for the playoffs... its the only positive thing to take with this bad loss, we need DWill to be average for the playoffs...

We also need our vet PG to not turn the ball over something like 7 times in the 4th quarter and OT. His play tonight was totally bipolar.

Man, Love was open on that PnR to end the 4th too. Had Deron thrown a bounce pass, Love would have gotten it in stride for a layup or free throws. Why Deron tried to go over the top of Whiteside is beyond me.
