Welcome Deron Williams

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Deron Williams is a big reason why I’ll never judge a vet too harshly based on his regular season play. They know that the playoffs are what it’s all about and prepare themselves accordingly.
For me Richard Jefferson last finals was why. Ate crow bad

Pretty cool that he owns a UFC Gym and that went on MMA Hour today and said he is going to participate in Jiu-Jitsu tournaments in the future

Are you sure you want one of your players competing in a sport featuring leg locks targeting your knee and ankle ligaments, upper body submissions designed to break your arm, etc.?

I find it scary just to read a description of heel hooks.

At least he'll be able to compete with Kelly Olynyk, I guess.

Re-sign him with the MLE or big part of it. His defense and playmaking is outstanding. I expect him to take over the 2nd unit without Lebron next year if he stays.
Trade Osman for a 1st round pick or 2 early 2nds in this deep draft... Don't waste the MLE on Osman. Not now..

Don't understand why thsi thread is so quiet.. He has been outstanding and his defense is lockdown right now.

Yes resign him asap.

I can't believe how active he is on defense. He looked like tony Allen deflecting all of those passes out of bounce.

He finaly cares after a long time.. you can see it even when he is on the bench.
He plays the game right, he is much better than Delly and he fits out title window perfectly.

The lineup with him on the floor instead of Kyrie is lockdown.. the ball movement is also off the charts.

He wants that ring

And revenge on media for throwing dirt on his grave

Deron used to be a star because of his basketball IQ, he was never an athletic freak. If he can keep playing motivated then he will always be a useful player

I knew he could be a decent defender if locked in but i had no idea he could be an almost elite defender..

Could make the case a Prime DWill is/was almost a better fit next to LeBron than Kyrie. His ability to run the pick and roll is incredible. Great interior passer as well.

If only we could have found a way to get him in 2005.

Oh well. I'll settle for old man DWill being a great backup for Kyrie.

He's playing great within his role. Bought in 100% to Lebrons vision.
Not a huge can when he throws up a long three but his fit has been great.
Boston just stinks- they are just too deficient to compete.

I'm hoping he changes his mind and stays. I think two things might sway him:

- Gets to keep playing with Korver, his friend
- Gets to compete for rings every year

Deron is a proud guy. But backing up Kyrie is no shame.

I'm hoping that he decides to stick around. If he does, the only spot on the roster we may need to fill over the summer is backup center.
