GS has 4.

As has been reiterated by numerous others, we have multiple guys that drive with the ball or create their own shot now. What is key is our depth and ability to switch on most PnR. Also, the more guys that can get to the rack, the more we can slow the game and control tempo with GS, that is how we beat them in 2016.

Holy shit this forum is full of retards. This lineup as constructed is going nowhere. Drose is already injured, wade hasn't been good in years, love is a great corner 3 shooter but nothing more. Jeff green is nothing. IT is a nice thought but just a hope.

We need to make serious moves if we want to contend.

What is your definition of playmaker?

Clearly James and Love are the two most talented all around players, but rose is out there making things happen. I agree with most that wade is showing signs of his age, but he is still very dangerous when he wills himself past that. If IT returns, he would be the clear fourth.

What is really different as compared to GS, is the bench depth. Crowder as a fifth starter is efficient and a good defender, but having JR, TT, and Green off the bench is strong, when IT returns he should push wade or rose to the bench..

If you look at t he GS NO game, GS starters played high minutes to beat NO. They had no answer for Cousins and Davis who were both ridiculously efficient, and even if you credit holiday with being above average, NO gave GS a run, playing 3 on 5..

GS is beatable. You need hard nosed defense, and a lot of offensive weapons. I think we can get there, but it will take time for tthe team to gel. I think the team is working together better with out Kyrie tho..

Team clearly missed him: he gets you easy buckets or FT trips by pushing the pace and off the ball cuts. Even with his shaky jumper, you've got to keep track of him. As long as he's not paired with Wade, he's going to be a good add if healthy

I would be in agreement if Lue wasn't the coach, but he is. Do you think he has the ability to intergrate another ball dominant player with big ego and have the right scheme on both sides to beat GSW? I doubt it.

Because he got us the one ring and he is Lebron's boy, no chance in hell he is leaving unless LBJ does.

His schemes in the playoffs the past two years came down to complete Lebron and Kyrie iso ball (and sometimes kick out). And so right now with Ky leaving my fear is we are about to see Mike Brown esque Cavs with Lbj holding the ball at the top of the 3 point line until there is 4 seconds left every single possession. I just do not think Lue is a smart enough coach to implement anything else.

No. The point is that the way to beat them is not by copying them. You are playing into their strengths if you try to do that, and will never match the talent they have for playing that particular style of basketball.

You beat them by playing a different style, and forcing them to adapt to you. Other than Green, they are not a strong team physically. Memphis beat them last night because they had no answer for Marc Gasol. NO gave them trouble because they couldn't handle Davis or Cousins.

He was horrible in his first year, but the Bucks kept giving him playing time and minutes, and now he is the face of the franchise and is going to be the MVP this season.

It's the wrong move trading that pick with only half season to go when we don't even have a system in place.

Reason why I will not wait that long is because when Lebron does not think the organization has put a great team around him he bolts. Did it first in Cle then in Miami. He will do it again if he has to to keep cementing his legacy before he starts declining. This team as constructed may not make it out of East imo.
