Reason why I will not wait that long is because when Lebron does not think the organization has put a great team around him he bolts. Did it first in Cle then in Miami. He will do it again if he has to to keep cementing his legacy before he starts declining. This team as constructed may not make it out of East imo.

There is a huge difference though. We have ways of improving.. Mia and Cle back then did not.

Lebron needs to see the potential in a team to improve, he has to know a team has that option if he fails to reach his goal. Actually, if we trade that pick and lose, the chances of him bolting in my opinion significantly increase.
Losing the finals is a fiasco, it draws drama and when you have 3 max players wanting to get paid after a finals loss that have uncertainty towards their future, then the possiblity of completely imploding is real.

What makes you think Dan even wants to even pay more luxury tax for a team that couldn't even beat GSW without the means of improving? this pick is a dream for Dan because it's a win win situation for him for many different reason.

Holy shit this forum is full of retards. This lineup as constructed is going nowhere. Drose is already injured, wade hasn't been good in years, love is a great corner 3 shooter but nothing more. Jeff green is nothing. IT is a nice thought but just a hope.

It is a long season, if you are this worked up on game three, not sure how you are going to make it. Also, based on your comments, you haven't watched ANY of the games. Rose, aside from the injury, has looked pretty damn good so far. Love, especially last night, was scoring in a variety of ways, and his usage has increased each game. Jeff Green also has improved each game.

Give it time to gel, if they are playing like this in a few months, then panic and resort to name calling.

Calling for more major moves to be made when that just isn't happening, calling for the coach to be fired 3 games into the season, calling a big chunk of the roster garbage when all we could sign was vet minimum types, just second guessing anything and everything. I honestly think certain people should just go follow another team or another sport, or just find a fucking hobby and be happy doing something other than following this team. But he wouldn't bolt until next summer, after we use or trade that pick to put a better team around him.

LBJ bolted from both Cleveland and Miami when he thought the team around him was not good enough, and he didn't see any way it could improve. If we use our best asset now and fail, then we won't have any means to improve significantly in the offseason.

If we fail, but still have that pick in July, then we have an asset to convince LBJ we can improve for the upcoming (2018-19) offeseason.

The key point is that the right now, the market is pretty barren. At the end of the season, when teams reevaluate where they are, and some decide they need to change up their rosters, more impact players will be available in trade. So, we are more likely to get maximize what we can get at the end of the season than we are right now.
