I hate the phrase too, but I think Crowder absolutely moves the needle. He is strong, athletic, can hit an open 3, and plays pissed off.

He has ok Length for a SF, short for a PF.

We have 3 of him in Lebron, Crowder and Green. Green has the most flaws of all of them, but I do feel he will play solid defense or plus defense with his length and athletic ability while hopefully limiting the bonehead plays to 1 or 2 a game.

Crowder though can absolutely be about 80% of what Draymond is for GS, we really have some nice pieces this year. I am curious how the team runs when IT comes back because he will add shooting to our starting 5 although we will lose defense which is tough to say because he is replacing a horrible defender.

I don't believe his history shows this to be true.

I wouldn't say we were a soft team. But there were lot of instances where I felt we lacked that edge, scrappiness and chippyness. Delly provided that for us. But had no one last season. Crowder is that guy. He plays with a chip on his shoulder every game. Same with IT. Whether we are a better team or not in terms of talent from last season remains to be seen, even though I feel we are. But there's no doubt in terms of mentality, we are a much better team.

Our best lineup is going to feature Zizic and the sooner the coaching staff figures it out the better. Big-Z is going to be a legend around these parts.

That's highly questionable... Crowder is nowhere near the creator Green is. He's often the fulcrum of their offense, their most important 2-way player, the guy they trust to make decisions when double teams force the ball out of their stars' hands. Jae is awesome, but he's not that... if he were 80% of Draymond, he'd be a multiple all star and borderline All-NBA player

Eh. I would much rather nave IT start and have him Lebron Love and JR run everyteam off the court. I mean shit, how can you even try to defend that offensive onslaught? Then Crowder is in there to pull his defensive weight and also he is not bad on O. Unlike Thompson who couldnt lead a one car fucking funeral.
