I've hated Jae for years for the exact reasons I love him now simply because he played for the opposition. Love this guy now.

He's actually the top reason why Boston has been so good the last few years.

More so than IT. IT was their best player, he was their most valuable.

Boston didn't truly realize how bad it was to trade away Crowder in an Irving trade.

They traded their most impactful player, and I'm not sure they understood that.

Yeah this guy is just one of those great glue guys that we've probably lacked.

Good enough shooter, can guard the tough assignments fairly well, high character guy among many other things.

One thing i really like is his ability to cut to the basket, gonna be very good ones the offence settles.

Like everyone else here, I absolutely love this guy! Best part of the trade with boston. I actually wanted a trade to happen with the pistons as well to get stanley johnson, because he's a tall strong versatile defender and still very young. I remember that he played pretty good defense against lebron. However I haven't really payed attention to how he has been doing during the regular season. This team just needed a defensive mindset so bad and crowder provides just that and then some.

I think him and IT were one of the biggest reasons I hated the Celtics so much in the last 3 years.. they were always so intense and animated and it rubs you the wrong way when they play against you.

Also Jae is dangerous when he plays against you.. will not back down from anybody and has the potential to cause some Olynyk injuries if he wants to.

It's clear to me already that he admires LBJ and loves playing with him. He doesn't care that he doesn't get the ball for consecutive possessions and will work his ass off on D regardless. He doesn't sulk.(Erm Kyrie)

He scored a bunch of times against Giannis farily easily when I was sure he would get rejected or something. He is a very good finisher and you don't expect it when you watch him because he doesn't jump very high, but he knows how to shield himself with his big body and he is an effective cutter aswell.

That sequence when he finished a layup ,then got a bird in Brogdon and nailed that 3 in the corner was exciting as fuck. Love this guy. It's like we became the Celtics of last year, but with much better talent. Avery Bradley would have completed the puzzle and was perhaps even possible if not for the Wade signing.
