Thumbs down to that trade idea. Hope the Cavs don't do it.

give me furkan and I am in.
Not sure what people think a 38 your old guard that gets exposed in the playoffs every year will fetch

I agree with some that if you cannot get a good return then keep him. A good veteran

I would take furkan though

Whereas I'm all for getting what you can for Love, trading Korver makes no sense unless you're blown away by the deal. As noted, far more valuable as a mentor to young players.

Why on Earth would the Cavs want to trade for Bayless? I’m assuming that they will get back some other asset in the deal.

If Korver gets moved, it's more than likely he asked out because he didn't want to stick around for a rebuild. The Cavs would be doing right by Korver sending him to a contender, and he has family in Philly.

I would not blame him, he has a year or two left. Either before the season or the deadline he will be moved to a contender

I would also think if Furkan is part of the deal that you do it. Also I'd be talking to the Bucks to see if we flip Bayless for Delly and another asset.

Our undying love for certain players sometimes is ridiculous. (and I'm not talking about Korver) I would like to get Furkan if we are going to move him to Philly.

I can only assume this was leaked from Philly's end. They want elite but aging talent for the cost of one or two poop sandwiches. If you make it to the end of the article, you learn they might throw in a third poop sandwich.

Sourdough or rye?

Furkan Korkmaz would be a nice get. Holmes would be redundant... maybe.

I'd actually rather shoot for Korver for Bayless, McConnell, and Korkmaz.

Though the question about Holmes is if his second year was an aberration. He shot nearly 36% from 3PT that season. He didn't shoot volume, but the talent evaluators will have to look at his tape and see if he legitimately can stretch or not. If he can, he's your backup to Love.

Bayless is a guy I'd just cut and eat the salary on. Acquiring him saves $3.5M next year on Korver's buyout, but trading Korver is only worth it if you get a first rounder or a decent piece in return.

I'd much rather have draft compensation. Not a huge Korkmaz guy, and McConnel isn't of much use here and way more valuable to Philly than he would be to us.

I either want Philly's 2019 first or Multiple good 2nd rounders(they have Chicago and Sacramento's 2nd's for 2019...I'd take both of those as well)

If Cedi wasnt here, couldnt imagine people would be clamoring for Korkmaz.

That said, this seems like an opportunity to replenish our 2nd round picks. If we tank, we will likely not have a 2nd rounder until 2023.

76ers have 3 2nds in 2019, 3 2nds in 2020, and 5 2nds in 2021.
