So we don't have to worry about Holmes being the asset back. They valued him so much they got cash consideration for him.

That’s interesting since the Suns are loaded with young PF’s, in Dragan Bender, Marquese Chriss, Alan Williams, now Holmes. The Suns have 16 guaranteed contracts for 2018, so more moves are likely coming.

I won’t be surprised if they make a run at Kevin Love, offering some combination of ending contracts (Chandler or Dudley), young players (Josh Jackson, Bender, Chriss, TJ Warren), and/or draft picks (they own Milwaukee’s 2019 pick as well as their own). James Jones is in the Suns front office and he obviously knows Love well.

Sourdough or rye?

With Philly being an East Coast city, we can only assume rye with melted Swiss on those poop sandwiches. The Clippers or Golden State would undoubtedly go with sourdough and avocado.

They’re probably haggling over the picks at this point.
If Koby can land a first, that would be fantastic- regardless of its draft position.
Korver would help them.
Koby doesn’t want Korver helping this team win meaningless reg season games. I don’t care what they’re saying publically.

They wouldn't move Jax and Bledsoe for Irving at one point I think. Seem like a hefty price for Love

But on the flip side, Korver was the best shooting coach LeBron ever had, and they drafted a point guard who shot about 20% from three in the summer league. I have no doubt Korver is on the block, but he isn't detrimental at all to the team if they wait until the deadline.

Maybe we shouldn't care what YOU are saying publically. :chuckle: Joking.

Korver's ability to teach is great. It's why they need to value him highly. If Philly offers the leftover first after the Boston trade, I seriously consider that. But they need to carefully consider what is offered.

If Cedi wasnt here, couldnt imagine people would be clamoring for Korkmaz.

That said, this seems like an opportunity to replenish our 2nd round picks. If we tank, we will likely not have a 2nd rounder until 2023.

76ers have 3 2nds in 2019, 3 2nds in 2020, and 5 2nds in 2021.

I think people like Korkmaz because they saw him playing with Cedi in those two Turkish national team games. He also played well in summer league.

I like him because he adds another wing player that can develop for the future. Once we trade away JR and Hill, we can play Cedi, Hood, and Korkmaz most of the SG and SF minutes. I think getting a guy like Korkmaz in now is better than getting a second round pick, we will have minutes to develop him this year. Those minutes are better used to develop talent like Korkmaz than a guy like John Holland or whoever else we bring in.

I question how effective Korver will be without LeBron. LeBron would run so much action for Korver to get his shot and I never felt Korver fit in to the flow of the normal offense. I know we will be running a completely different offense but Im not sure who runs action for Korver.

I like Korver for what he brings off the court with helping everyone with their shot. On the court though, I have a hard time seeing how he fits in. I've always felt the ball movement was better in 2016 and 2017 with our shooters before Korver came in. To get the most value back for Korver we need someone setting him up and running enough action to get him open shots, who would that person be to do that?

I would let Korver go off the basis that he’s not athletic to really play at the pace Collin Sexton and Love will most likely play at. Really 80% of our team is too slow

Love and Zizic will trail every transition play by 5 seconds.

There was a spot for only one nonathletic white big...that is if you still want to be a good defensive team and to a lesser degree if you want to be a good transition team.

Here goes my dream of an athletic team playing like absolute mad men every night.

This ain’t college. You can’t play like madmen for 82 games
We will run enough.

I want at least 4 of my guys running in transition. That what makes a good team in transition. Two guys running is not good enough to be efficient...especially if one player is not yet very efficient at the rim.

No way around it, we need to draft a stud wing player. I rest my case.
