Goodbye Larry Nance Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I really just wanted him to win for his dad. All of his interviews he always talked about how cool it would be. The only father and son to win it would have been sweet.

This was his one chance to do it too. If he couldn't win in a dunk contest this weak, it's over. Credit to him that he actually did a couple legitimate dunks nobody has really seen.

Nance is an in game dunker like LeBron.

What's impressive is his length, extension, etc not creativity.

I thought Dennis Smith Jr was the best dunker of them all by far.

Random thought: I didn't know NBA Draft.net had Larry compared to Louis freaking Amundson lmao.

They gave Dennis Smith a 39 for a double pump extremly hard and athletic dunk, than they gave Mitchell a 50 for a normal bounce it off the board dunk, I'v seen a guy at the Y do that dunk

This had to be the worst judging crew in dunk contest history next time it should be players only that shit was awful to watch the scores made no sense haha, or even a better idea why not let the fans vote you'll get fair results

First dunk was not creative enough though. Should have done double tap and put the pressure on Mitchell

Man I only caught like the latter end of the contest but I didn't see much creativity at all. You gotta stack up midgets or ITs or something and jump over them, or bring a lawnmower in, or have Shaq in a banana hammock trying to block you.

I see Nance as less athletic but higher motor and decent skills. Reminds me a little of del curry..he was constantly trying to do something to help the cause. I see that in Nance. Never takes time off , just keeps pushing a all the buttons.
Less athletic????????????????????????????????????????????

Honestly Larry Nance Jr is easily gonna be a top 5 favorite Cavalier going forward..I can just see it.. There’s not a single thing about the kid that I can say is a negative...

We know what his game is about, we know what he’s about.. He wants to win, he wants to win with the Cavs..Huge !

In terms of the all time Cavalier greats he certainly has a chance to pass up his dad and be on the Mount Rushmore of Cleveland Cavaliers..

He’s played 2 games and you can already see that Varejao kinda love from the fans and it’s just gonna keep growing..

I’m certainly not a jersey guy— but because he ties the amazing past that I cherish to the old Orange n Blue with a Wine n Gold LBJ era — I can most certainly rock a Nance Jr jersey...

Larry got robbed

Also I hope Lue knows he needs to be starting after the all star break

I'm a huge fan of LNJ, but I can see the argument for continuing to start TT -- at least until Love comes back. Fact is, we need both guys playing, and things are going really well right now with TT starting but LNJ getting a lot of minutes, and sometimes being the guy to close out games. Benching TT right now is kind of along the lines of trying to fix what isn't broken, and may cause more problems than it solves.

And yes, I do think LNJ is better than TT. Still can't believe LAL gave him up for a low first rounder.
