Goodbye Larry Nance Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Very happy with Lauri Markannen I think he showed his value tonight to the Cavs(though questions remain if he should play SF or PF next year) and if need be, improved/reinforced his value around the league trade wise.

That said….

Always have love for Larry Nance, Jr. so as bittersweeet as it is, I’m happy to see how impactful he was tonight for New Orleans with a massive 16 rebounds and 7-8 FG in 24 minutes.

We made some jokes at his expense when Portland floundered and then when he was traded to a seemingly lotto destined New Orleans but he gets to play in the playoffs, is healthy, and is playing well.

Will have no problem rooting for New Orleans, even though Phoenix will make quick work of them

As happy as I am for him think it’s absurd they made the playoffs, shows the stupidly of the playin, a team that won 36 games makes the playoffs over a team that won 42 (mostly without their 2 star players) because Paul George was on covid protocols for one game.
Feel so bad for the clippers they really deserved it

The play ins are stupid for that very reason but the neutrals and media love it because its sudden elimination

Happy for him. Who would've guessed a few months ago that LNJ would be in the playoffs and the Cavs would not.
Nance was sensational last night and could've helped switching on Trae if he were still on the Cavs. With that said LNJ could very well get injured again next week. Cavs really needed Markkanen's scoring so it's difficult to really know who would've helped them more last night.
