Goodbye Larry Nance Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Pretty cold act from Larry. But this shit happens. Move on.

Go Larry!

I always thought Mean Joe should have just pummeled that kid with the empty Coke bottle.

Meh...it's TMZ horseshit.

Imagine being video taped ALL THE TIME as a celebrity.

I would have been caught being an asshole COUNTLESS times in my life. As would all of us. We have no clue WHY Larry did what he did, and quite frankly, I don't care.

As far as I'm concerned, he taught the kid a valuable lesson.

Sports athletes aren't heroes and they shouldn't be idolized. They're just people who are incredibly gifted physically, but they rarely do much to contribute to culture or the betterment of humanity at large (besides donating money). They're well-paid entertainers. That's all.

Nance was owning him in he beginning of the game, but was just fatigued in the second half. He was pushed around and Jokic just shot over him, where's in the first half Nance was just picking his pocket.

He didn't need own Zizic really. He made tough shots hat he just barely got over his outstretched arms. He couldn't gain ground on him posting up and had to settle for long mid range shots in which he was bailed several times by the refs.

Zizic was reffed very poorly, but in my opinion he was huge in both ends in his limited minutes. Still in very bad shape, but the guy seriously could be a high level starter soon.

In my option there is a case for him to start in a Zaza role just to save Nance. Zizic is already better than Zaza, so why not? I'm not sure Nance is big enough as a starter. I think it's super taxing for him to bang against starting centers for 36 minutes.
You called it. The minutes definitely wore on him. Hopefully he comes back stronger after some rest.

Larry doesn't sign autograph for kid

Larry gets hurt

I can see it now, hell, trolls are probably already commenting about it on social media.

Larry Nance received treatment after the game on his right hamstring. "It's been going on a little bit the last couple games," Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said of Nance. The Cavs starting center said, "I'm absolutely fine," when asked about his hamstring, making it sound like he'll play Thursday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

He really shouldn't try be a soldier...he needs to rest. We need him to be as explosive and athletic as he was when we first got him and we can afford to rest him now for a couple of games if necessary.

Nance has always come back sooner than expected from injuries, but you really gotta be smart with this, as there was a decline in his athletic performance for the last couple of games.

Completely agree. We'd be royally fucked if Nance was out for the playoffs/Finals.

Yeah...if he's not 100% he should be sitting...

We can't afford to fuck around with this...

I mean, if he wants to play and says he is fine as he is super competitive in nature, what's really our options? Can the Cavs diagnose him with a more severe injury via some screening or a physical exam? I doubt a Hamstring pull or whatever it is can be diagnosed via screening, so the Cavs basically diagnose by his complaints and injury summary... or maybe i'm mistaken here.

Regardless, I hope they think hard about it and make some tough decisions even against his will if need be.
