Welcome Marquese Chriss

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think staukas is just filler but knight and chrisse are viable players. A solid coach might light a fire under chrisse. Kid has talent
Knight is ok and along with his contract could fetch an asset or two next year
Two first round picks this year. 6 second round picks over next few years. The other first round pick in two years
And you still got guys like Clarkson tt Henson delly you can move next deadline to a contender. And there is still love. Nice job kobi

I wonder if the front office will shuffle Chriss in and out of the rotation if he keeps showing promise. He is a unrestricted free agent and we don't want to create a market for him if we want to keep him. It's hard to tell what kind of a motor a guy will have in just 25 games especially when it's a contract year. I'd much rather see him on a smaller contract even if it's 2+1 so we can accurately asset his value than pump up his value for 25 games and end up overpaying him.

I'm guessing his playing time is greatly reduced to keep the price tag low.

Doubtful. He needs to prove he is worth the contract he could get here before the Cavs try to keep him in the shade and force him to want out.
Remember he wanted out of Houston due to lack of pt. He needs to be in the rotation ahead of Zizic going forward who by all accounts lost his gig in the rotation imo because of Chriss. I would play him a lot of Thompson's minutes as well

Zizic/Chriss
Love/Nance

That's a pretty good 4-5 combo for the next several years. Now that changes if we land Zion.

If that were the case, I would think Nance would end up traded unless Zion lines up at the small forward position.

I saw that Zion was 6'7' and 248 and wondered why you guys have been talking about him as a PF. Like, WTF?

Almost every mention of him I seen, has been 6'7" and 285, with almost unbelievable athleticism. A once in a decade prospect.

Can definitely see the Drew Gooden comparisons- he's a Drew who can hit 3s. Has as much feel for basketball as a kumquat. I'm a little more helpful he can at least be useful, byt im not holding my breath. I get the feeling he is being showcased a little. He's hustled more so far than I saw in Pho, so that's positive. I think best case scenario is he becomes a trade chip of sorts; he doesnt appear to have any feel for rebounding but feel free to correct me on that one. Hopefully Larry doesnt bury Zizic just because of this guy.

Very big guy, with the movility of a guard
Does he have very long arms? He just seems kinda short for a PF. With that body and that mobility it would seem he could Crush at SF.

He has a wingspan about 6'10", long arms... I think his natural position is PF offensively. Defensively he theoretically could defend 2-5

But who knows, AB was a 4 with supposedly freakish athleticism too...
