Who is your second nba team?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I dont really have a second team in the sense that i follow them and care about them like i do the Cavs. There are teams that I hate and want to see them lose - so whenever those teams play against any other teams then I root for the other team. I do the same with other sports like NFL and football too.

Don't get the real fans don't have second teams. Nothing wrong with sticking around and watching the 2nd game of a double header because you like a system or coach or player. You don't have to exactly be rooting for them.

This. Only reason I like the Thunder and still do was because of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

Russ is my favorite non-Cavs player right now. I know I am not personally attached to them team, I just think a lot of people like certain players, which there is nothing wrong with that.

The Seattle Sonics.

It’s an interesting situation with them because looking at market trends, they will have a team again eventually. If the NBA goes into further expansion (not likely) or relocates (a little more likely), Seattle is next up on the list. It’s also supposedly a priority of Adam Silver.

The real question is how long it’ll be until something happens. It may take 10 years, 20 years, or even 50 years...but the Sonics will be revived in the NBA eventually.

Can't say I've got a 2nd favorite team, but there always seems to be a team I'm more interested in watching during any given season. The 07 Warriors, 2011 Mavs, SSOL Suns, CP3-Blake Clippers. This past year's Thunder team fascinated me, mostly because they were so talented and showed flashes of greatness. Such a shame KD left.

The question is, what team will move there? Would be nice to have a team back in Seattle.

Definitely an interesting situation since they don't exist--- even more interesting that when/if they do come back they won't be anything but imitation crab meat.....

Charlotte Hornets are back and in no way, shape, or form does it feel like the organization that once was....

From a local perspective the Browns are the same.... Colors and name are here and only gone for 4 years but there is such a disconnect....

Supersonics are forever gone....

I honestly think Seattle will get a team back in the future. It should've been the Kings.

Question is, what team will move there?

Been following Charlotte ever since Jordan bought the team because I have been fascinated by Jordan as an owner.

What's your second nba team?

None.

The only thing which even gets me interested in another NBA team is if there's an ex-Cavalier or potential future Cavalier on it.

I do occasionally watch the league pass ticker to see if any games are going down to the wire. The last couple minutes of close games are always fun.

I feel like my 2nd team changes every year or second year, depending on what young, athletic, up and coming team might look like they are poised for making a big leap. Right now it's obviously the Wolves but a few years back I even took a shine to the Bucks, just because of how preposterously invested they were in the idea of length on all positions. Ultimately it didn't pan out, because it turns out that you actually need to be able, y'know, shoot in todays NBA, but I really liked the idea of just filling up your roster with players who are able to guard multiple positions and it spoke to the way I've felt the NBA was evolving and how the sport was changing.

I was really hoping it would be the Jazz for me last year and that didn't happen.

Looks like this might be the year boys...

Last year I was excited to watch Milwaukee. After about 5 games, they weren't nearly as interesting as I'd hoped.

With Greek Freak looking like a real star and Jabari Parker hopefully progressing out of the actual rookie stage, less of a reliance on Greg Monroe, and adding Delly, I'm hoping these guys take the next step. Before Monroe, I loved the way they played defense and I"m hopeful they continue to improve that. I really want to see Parker develop into a strong NBA scorer and I feel that he can playing with Delly and Giannis.

Also, there's no reason that team shouldn't be fast breaking at every opportunity.

I agree... Losing Middleton is gonna hurt quite a bit though. I think that may prevent them from reaching the playoffs. Nonetheless, they should be fun to watch this season.
